Absolute BEST hospitality, serene setting, beautiful nature, well maintained facilities, great breakfast - Thank you Sindy, you've made a simple one night stay-over, feel like a holiday! I wholeheartedly recommend Whipstock Guest Farm, and I will definitely return 🥰

We had a very special stay at Whipstock and so enjoyed cosying up in the cottage in front of the fireplace. The historical buildings are unique and the property is beautiful for walks with lots of blue cranes. Excellent value for money!

Sindy welcomed us very friendly !! It is a magical, very beautiful, quiet place! Magnificient views! Everything you need, is there. Closeby there is a dam wherry you can walk to. We definitly go back there for a longer stay!

What a lovely family getaway we enjoyed. We stayed in a 200 year old cottage. Took a metal detector for treasures. There are swings etc. for the grandchildren. A room to chill and play darts and table tennis as well as pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately be back. Lovely areas to walk or hike. And we were spoilt were home baked bread.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Whipstock Guest Farm. We received such a wonderful warm and friendly welcome from our hosts Sindy and Kim who went out of their way to meet our requests and make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts that they served in the charming and newly renovated cafe were out of this world! The facilities were beautifully clean and the farm is so peaceful, it was amazing to feel so carefree and safe. We swam, fished and canoed in the farm dam, played table tennis, darts and billiards and thoroughly enjoyed the farm walks especially to the pristine little river. There was surprisingly so much to do in nearby McGregor and the wines and wine farms in the area were outstanding! We can't wait to go back to Whipstock Guest Farm with friends and family.

Beautiful old buildings and surroundings. Peaceful farm away from the town's hustle and bustle. Ideally located for a hike to Greyton. Well appointed room. Lovely host. Next time we'll bring our kids!

What a stunning spot! My husband and I stayed in the beautiful “Barn” cottage, a real honeymooners dream… cosy bed, comfy couch, and rustic features, like a vintage roll top desk, copper kettles, open fire and brass bedstead. Could have holed up here all week!

We had an enchanting experience during our stay at The Barn. The romantic room boasts a cozy fireplace generously stocked with an abundance of firewood, making for a perfect sanctuary on a cold and rainy Saturday night. Whipstock Farm is conveniently nestled near the picturesque town of McGregor, brimming with captivating attractions and a variety of delectable dining establishments. The farm offers an array of hiking trails, immersing you in the beauty of the surrounding nature, and it's also conveniently located close to Boesmanskloof and wine tasting venues. Our time at Whipstock Farm was nothing short of magical, and we look forward to returning.

After getting a bit lost and eventually arriving after 19H00, I was warmly welcomed by Sindi, into the most beautiful environment imaginable. Nestled in the mountains and surrounded by natural fynbos and trees, Whipstock Guest farm offers walking, bike riding, fishing, rowing and, if you wish, many places for some peaceful meditation. The self catering, off-grid cottages are very comfortable and immediately make you feel at home. Thoroughly recommended!
