My wife and I spent a quiet evening in the High Hopes Chalet, surrounded by a beautiful garden, to end our quick trip through the Klein Karoo. The service was friendly, and the room was clean and excellently appointed. From a location point of view, it is on the edge of Greyton, and it is easier to drive than walk to the centre of town, but this does add to the experience. We will revisit when in the area!

The excitement in travelling to a new destination often presents a limited opportunity to notice and appreciate the little things. Caught up in the moment we can often overlook those special little ingredients that combine with the first impression to make a truly memorable getaway. Returning to a memorable place, enjoying a level of satisfaction and relaxation comparable to that first trip is special in itself. It speaks to the place, those special ingredients and the owners that present it .... we will gladly return again in future for these reasons. Another fabulous weekend getaway.

The personnel were so friendly, everything was clean, adequate with some extras. Beautiful, peaceful setting, highly recommendable. Far enough from town for a well-deserved rest but close enough to enjoy all the restaurants. You will definitely see us again!

The property has the potential to be beautiful, however there appears to be a lack of maintenence which detracts from the beauty. I would suggest that the rooms get a makeover and that the gardens get manicured to enable guests to enjoy the possible beauty and tranquility of the retreat.

Such a nice and peaceful place to stay. Safe parking. Beautiful garden. Great service. Highly recommended! I am finding High Hopes as the one of the best places to stay in Greyton. Amazing experience. Thank you
