格林維爾凱悅飯店(Hyatt Regency Greenville)

We very much enjoy this hotel. It is always a nice, enjoyable time. The check-in process and experience this go-around was less than impressive. Staff appeared rushed and less than helpful when presented with questions. Overall, I would rate this hotel wonderful; however, the service was disappointing.

I am absolutely appalled that we paid over $250.00 PER NIGHT for what we received. Firstly, and most important, there was some growth (mold or mildew) on the shower wall in several places where the shower accessories shelf hangs on the wall. Disgusting. I don't know what material the sheets are made of, but they are so LOUD when you move; so I woke my husband up getting out of bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Then, I woke him up AGAIN closing the bathroom doors as they are SO SQUEAKY (they need to be oiled!), and then yet AGAIN when I flushed the toilet; I don't believe I have ever heard a toilet flush SO LOUDLY..Then I woke him up again opening the bathroom doors exiting the bathroom.

The hotel was very nice, we’ve stayed here before. I only have small problem with our hotel room. There’s a light that comes on when you open the door to the room. It’s evidently motion sensor type thing. It also goes off when you are walking around the room in the middle of the night. It’s a very bright light, and takes a long time to turn back off. It’s annoying to people when they’re trying to sleep I was not able to find a way to disable this feature. We only stayed one night, so it wasn’t worth asking the front desk about it .

The location was great. I’ve stayed in this location before and it was beautiful. I decided to book a night at the Hyatt because I wanted to treat my daughter to an extra special stay. I was disappointed in the current condition of the hotel. I noticed peeling paint, mold in the shower, and a strong chlorine smell in the lobby.

The stay was ok; but disappointed based on room condition. I expect more from 4 & 5 star hotels. (1) Several TV channels did not work. Appeared the tv could not get the proper signal. So most channels did not work. (2) Booked a room with a King size bed, I got 2 queen beds. (3) Bathroom was very small and bathroom door (barn door) did not close and we (my husband & I, as he was trying to help me close the doors securely) were locked in the bathroom unable to get the door to unlock for several minutes. Finally between the two of us, with me squeezing the doors together and him turning the lock we were able to unlock the doors (please don’t try this if you have nails ladies). I immediately called the front desk after we finally got out of the bathroom and the engineer quickly came. He worked on the doors for a few minutes but admitted the doors were faulty and to ‘be careful’ locking them. Unfortunately, once the doors were somewhat working, they did not provide much sound privacy. Awful design for a hotel bathroom door. I wouldn’t recommend barn doors for a hotel room bathroom in a small room…ever! However, throughout all of this, the hotel staff was courteous, professional and responded quickly to my requests.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and polite. It was so refreshing to see people smiling. Lunch/dinner options were a beautiful place with indoor outdoor dining and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Greenville, SC

For a hotel of this caliber and cost, I would expect a shower with better water pressure. The water pressure was terrible and the water didn’t get hot enough! Also some better amenities in the room overall. It was a nice getaway but won’t book a room here next time we are in downtown Greenville!

Tuve un problema, no tuve agua caliente en la regadera de la habitación, llamé a recepción y mandaron a personal de mantenimiento pero no se resolvió el problema. Tuvimos que bañarnos con agua fría. Le pido por favor pongan atención en esos detalles. Gracias

The receptionist was rude and was not welcoming. The breakfast didn’t have much variety. No pancake or waffle. They were not cleverly labeled. I asked what they were to the lady, she rudely told me what they were.
