On last morning at hotel, I was sitting in the lobby drinking coffee. Being close to the front desk, I could hear the staff getting ready for the day’s work. They were so pleasant with each other, very refreshing to hear. One employee named Pam even sat down with me for a bit, it was wonderful and so was she! Thanks Pam for your hospitality. ❤️

Well kept building with nice lobby with a fireplace. Check in was fine. Spacious room with sink out of toilet and shower area, which we like. Couple of things, there were three pillows, all pretty soft and small. Also, whenever the air conditioner went on there was a faint mildew odor. Otherwise, room was fine. There is coffee in the lobby all the time, but at 8 pm, I would have liked a cup of decaf which was not available. Breakfast area is large, could accommodate quite a few people. Offerings were typical for a free breakfast, they were fine. Since it's right off the interstate, there were many choices for eating, also plenty of gas stations.

When got in room, it smelled like Pee. Checked with night shift front desk. Jessica came in and agreed. She said “oh yeah I can smell it”, then then took her tools and cleaned out the AC air filter, and air freshener. About 30 min later reasonable. Before left, Jessica said ok will take care of this with day manger. Nice that she acknowledged Then in morning, mentioned what happened to day manger.. Every mention of what happened was responded with an answer. Basically brushed it off, that essentially was an excuse, not our fault. A simple acknowledgement and or apology would have felt better. Later came back and did not see me, mentioned “stupid..” “could have gone somewhere else..” Lessons to be learned: 1. Acknowledge first, don’t have to agree… goes a long way to defuse situation 2. Keep quiet is better, never know when someone is listening… Another day of Business 101. Basically good hotel overall, good job for breakfast, we expect problems it is 2023 , a few years after Covid, and no where to get workers 1 minute of bad over rules 12 hours of good. A suggestion for next time. No more Super 8 for me.

Check in was good and our parking was very close to our room. The room had a very unpleasant smell that I could handle because I bring essential oils with me. I was able to stay in the room. Service and breakfast was excellent. If I stay there next time I’ll give a good sniff and ask to be moved if I do not feel good about it.

Hot tub did not work our first night, one of the reasons I chose this hotel was for the hot tub. Toilet did not flush for two days. We plunged it twice and they had maintenance fix it but still did not flush well. Other than those two things we had no issues.

Room was fine, beds were comfortable and the shower worked. Pool was supposed to close at 10, we were kicked out at 9:40 after only being there about 15 minutes while the night attendant started shutting off lights before we even had a chance to get towels on us. Breakfast was ok, but they were out of stuff at 8 am. It was definitely not a 9/10 as the reviews suggested.

This hotel is in need of some serious updating. The room was very old. The bathroom doorknob pulled off when I closed the door. The toilet seat wasn’t secured on one side. The smoke alarm wasn’t fully attached to the wall. The staff were very pleasant but that didn’t make up for the poor condition of the property.

Nice employees,POOL WAS COLD, NO FILTRATION, AND AIR CIRCULATION .,WAY TOO MUCH CHLORINE EYES WERE BURNING AND WATERING NOSE WAS RUNNING. THE POOL WAS THE ONLY REASON I PICKED THIS HOTEL.,NEXT TIME I WILL FARGO THE POOL AND SAVE MONEY

Nice hotel in a very good location just outside Indianapolis. It is a not a new facility, but it seems well attended, with very friendly staff, and a quite good breakfast. Also the pool and the hot tub are nice, with towels provided.
