The bedroom we were allocated was very clean, beautifully furnished, and had a nice balcony overlooking the Alhambra Palace. We also appreciated the welcoming & professional reception/housemaid/breakfast staff we encountered during our stay. Yes the WC flushes in this hotel - as some previous reviewers have noted - are memorable - not only for their notable flushing sound but also for their most impressive, reassuringly powerful & very hygienic WC flushing mechanisms - the best we've seen anywhere!!!!! So please keep them!!!
For a four star hotel the restaurant was only 1 star which is why I marked it so low. We were only here for 2 nights which was long enough! We has dinner in the first night, what a mistake! There was a very poor choice of dishes, nothing was labelled so you had no idea what to choose. Staff were too slow to top up dishes. Breakfast was absolute chaos. Only 2 drinks machines with long queues at both. Poor selection of food that was not replenished quickly enough for volume of diners. Our room was acceptable but nothing special. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill with one or two shops a short walk away, but no bars and the drinks in the hotel are very expensive. The one thing close by is the Alhambra. There are also bus stops nearby along with the hop on, hop off train that goes around Granada. The hotel will order a taxi for you, around €5 down to the centre of Granada. The Alhambra is not to be missed and I'd recommend the train that goes around the city.
My family stayed two nights in this hotel on a tour of Alhambra Palace. The outside common area of the hotel, including the dining room, was very well maintained and could deserve a 5-star rating. The rooms inside were a different story. We occupied two rooms. One was a “superior deluxe room,” and the other was a “classic city-view double room.” Both had the same price tag. The deluxe room was spacious and well-lit but had an odd arrangement with a useless bathtub in the center. Moreover, the room smelled of sewage when we entered the room—which I notified the management. They disagreed and claimed there was no sewage smell. I did not appreciate the response, as all four of our family members smelled of sewage. Nor did I escalate the issue, as our stay was short. The city-view room had a small window overlooking the city without much viewing space. The room was tiny, with two twin beds packed in the room, and was poorly lit. It felt like being in a prison cell. The shower doors in both rooms did not close fully, so the water splashed out. In short, both rooms were substandard and did not deserve the price tag at all. My recommendation to travelers is to stay elsewhere, and if you need to stay there, avoid the small “city-view” rooms and Deluxe Room #331 that smells of sewage. I got to love Spain and its people who are very friendly and helpful, but not this hotel.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We loved the location and our room . We would highly recommend staying here . We have booked to stay in at their location in Seville as well . One of the staff helped us get tickets for the Alhambra.. every time I looked it was sold out . We were so grateful 💖
