金塔大馬卡農家樂(Quinta Da Marka)

Essa Quinta conta com pouquissimos quartos o que a torna bem intimista e acolherdor e demos a sorte de só ter a gente lá, então estávamos nos sentindo em casa...foi uma deliciia!! Fora a vista que é lindissima e o lugar super tranquilo. Fomos MUITO bem recebidos e atendidos por todas as pessoas que trabalham lá, equipe nota 1000 e que fez toda a diferença na nossa estadia.

Ce petit hotel, tout récemment rénové, comporte 6 chambres et 1 suite.Il est parfaitement situé pour visiter les plus belles quintas de la vallée du Douro entre Peso da Regua et Pinhao.La plupart des chambres offrent une vue magnifique sur le Douro et sont impeccables : literie, propreté,etc .C'est le calme absolu et nous sommes au milieu des vignes. il y a un grand parking privé, car l'accès voiture est quasi indispensable.Il y a aussi une petite gare ferroviaire située à 5 minutes à pied... Cet hotel est situé entre la célèbre Quinta de Crasto et la Quinta Nova, qui font des produits magnifiques, et que je vous recommande de visiter . Angela gére remarquablement bien cet hotel et nous a conseillé très professionnellement pour organiser notre séjour.Elle a organisé nos visites et dégustations .Nous avons d'ailleurs choisi de diner le soir sur place, car la cuisine faite par Milèna aidée de Maria est excellente, et surtout très raisonnable en terme de prix. Quinta da Marka produit aussi d'excellents vins (blancs et rouges) que nous avons dégusté en apéritif et pour accompagner nos repas.On peut évidemment en acheter, car ils sont extras, notamment les cuvées vieilles vignes.... Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir, du fait de cet accueil exceptionnel.

Mais um paraíso no Douro. A Quinta da Marka transborda tranquilidade, simpatia, ambiente familiar e vistas deslumbrantes sobre o rio, a partir da varanda e da zona da piscina. O jantar estava óptimo e a monocasta Touriga Nacional e o Vinhas Velhas são verdadeiras “obras de arte”. A somar a tudo isto, a D. Ângela é uma anfitriã fantástica. Altamente recomendável. Por mim, voltarei em breve. NOTAS PESSOAIS SOBRE A QUINTA DA MARKA: O Sol já se tinha posto atrás da Quinta do Crasto e o Douro ia mergulhando, devagarinho, na escuridão. Lá em baixo, o último comboio do dia deixa o apeadeiro do Ferrão e um pequeno barco rasga uma esteira perfeita águas tranquilas do rio. Na varanda da Quinta da Marka vamos acompanhando este deleite com um Reserva Vinhas Velhas, espremido de mais de 30 castas das mais antigas da casa. Não bebemos, porque estes vinhos não se bebem, saboreamos, cheiramos, olhamos, comentamos, e levamos umas 4 horas, com o jantar pelo meio, a fazer desaparecer da garrafa este nectar divinal que mais parece um vintage de Porto. É a isso que sabe e que cheira. O silêncio cai sobre o vale, na N222, do lado de lá do Douro, os carros já quase não passam e sobram apenas umas vozes distantes e as luzinhas do casario da Quinta de São Luiz refletidas no espelho ***** do rio. Despedimo-nos assim de um dia inesquecível.

Tudo maravilhoso desde o atendimento até as comidas e o visual é perfeito, recomendo para momentos inesquecíveis a base de bons vinhos e com uma paisagem única

Local maravilhoso. Quinta familiar com uma vista fantástica. O nosso quarto tinha uma vista soberba, bem como a piscina. O jantar estava divinal, embora a sala não tenha grande requinte, porém, presenteia-nos com a vista do rio Douro. Staff super amável e atencioso. A Ângela sempre pronta a ajudar, e dar boas dicas. O pequeno almoço não é muito diversificado, mas é bom. Serviram-nos as tapas na piscina com um cocktail fantástico. Recomendo para casais estarem tranquilos e passarem uns dias descansados.

Wonderful quinta (vineyard with very small hotel and restaurante) - stayed over Easter Good Friday 2023 - terrific room, great ambiance throughout, has a terrific walk up through the vineyard to the chapel half-way up the small mountain - and Good Friday dinner was very special! Just three couples staying and in the restaurant, so impeccable service and a very very good pescetarian meal, with matching wines on special request. The staff were truly outstanding, especially the manager lady who rescued us from up the mountain when we split a tire open and found the very small rental car had no spare! All in all, a fabulous experience with many very fond memories

Oh my! Where do I start! Angela picked us up at the train station for quick 5 minute ride to Quinta Da Marka! This quaint picturesque hotel is a Jewel in the Duoro Valley. We only stayed one night but we had a private dinner for 8 and it was simply amazing! The welcome bottles of wine were such a treat that we bought several to take with us on the rest of our journey through Portugal. If you need to decompress and just relax this is the hotel for you. There is a beautiful view everywhere you look, a swimming pool that looks down on the Duoro river and some of the best wine you will ever drink. My only complaint is that they don't ship to the US! Love this place!

I totally loved Quinta da Marka! Angela couldn’t have been more delightful and helpful (and fluent in English). All staff on site were SUPURB and friendly, despite language barrier. We were only staying for one night, and didn’t want to leave! The views are spectacular. The view from the beautiful house windows were like paintings! The lovely pool had ample seating and sun beds. The terrace above also had seating. All of which looked over the Douro river. On arrival we were given a tasty Rosé welcome drink. Thank you! Our room (number 7) was fantastic. Very quiet, well equipped and comfortable, with views to the river. We started our stay with a wine tasting session. This was brilliant. The wines were all delicious and served with cheese and crackers. We had a lovely time tasting and chatting. After wine tasting (in my opinion, the best wine we have tasted in the Douro Valley) we headed to the pool to relax and take in the scenery. We had the area to ourselves! We arranged to have dinner at the hotel. This was 3 courses. Very reasonably priced and very tasty. We enjoyed more of the lovely Marka wine! A really special evening, made even better by the good food, excellent wine and fantastic and very friendly service. After a SUPURB nights sleep, we had an amazing breakfast. Angela was very helpful with suggesting places to visit moving forward. Once checked out, we were invited to spend time by their lovely pool. Thank you Angela and your team!

From the start service was amazing . Angela picked us up from train station and when we arrived offered us a welcome drink and great omelette and salad . Our room was spacious old world charm with all amenities and comfortable bed . Modern bathrooms . Our room overlooked the river and a beautiful sunrise . Breakfast was the best we've had in Spain or Portugal fresh fruit yogurt cold meats eggs anyway you like them fresh bread and cakes . Juice tea and coffee. Angela organised a trip wine tasting and tapas at another Vineyard which she drove us to. It was fantastic. Also the boat cruise was nice . The hotel has lots of garden flowers and places to sit and enjoy the peace and views. A bonus was a nice pool with plenty of sun lounges. This is a small hotel 10 rooms which has a library and beautiful lounge area . So peaceful would come again . All the staff were so helpful and happy .
