YHA 埃利奧特港青年旅舍(Port Elliot YHA)

The location at Port Elliot is beautiful. We had a double room with shared bathroom as we booked late and this is the only one available. Although the room is very small, it is reasonably clean and the bathroom is also clean. Sound proofing is not very good in the room as we can hear the door being closed in the next room. The shared kitchen and dining room are a plus because we can cook our own food if we don't want to eat out.

We stayed here for 2 nights out of our 3 nights/4 day South Australian Holiday. It’s our first time to visit SA, and drove from Melbourne to Adelaide. Their checkin time was strictly until 7pm but we got to the hostel at at past 10PM already. Despite that, Graham was very pleasant and welcoming. The location was superb and perfect if you want to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula. At the front of the Hostel is the beautiful Horseshoe Bay, and it’s only a 10-minute drive to Victor Harbor (you cqn even walk if you’re up for some hiking and exercise). It’s what you’ll see once you come out of the front balcony. The rooms and very clean. The place was quiet and relaxing. I wanted to stay a bit longer but I had to head back home to Melbourne. 😃

Top spot! Everybody talks about Goolwa but I think they should be talking about Port Elliot. We hadn’t been to the area before and were lucky to find this gem of a place to stay in an amazing location. We had a family room upstairs with a beautiful view of Horseshoe Bay. This is a nicely renovated heritage building with lovely spacious communal areas - particularly the breakfast room with morning sun and ocean views. Super well organised and well equipped kitchen with recycling best practice. Welcoming hosts, everything clean, comfy beds and can’t say enough about the 5 star views and location. This part of Port Elliot has a village a**osphere with gorgeous heritage houses and interesting shops, cafes etc so close. Also the cockle train station nearby which unfortunately wasn’t running the days we were there. Recommend the Spirit of Coorong 90 min boat trip from Goolwa to Murray mouth - for a fascinating overview of the area.

Stayed for three nights in one of private rooms at this place during April high season. - One of the cleanest accommodations that I have come across. Airconditioned rooms, clean linens, a small study table and a great comfy bed. - Common areas are spacious and clean. More like hotel than hostel. - Graham and Jill are great hosts, friendly and always willign to share local tips - The building is a marvellous structure, with rich history, yet immaculately maintained every inch. - Right next to the shores in Port Elliot. All majo cafes, eateries, beaches, steam rail stations are within a few minutes walk from this place. - Secured private parking. In short, a great friendly and comfortable place to base yourself if you are visiting southern Fleurieu (Victor Harbour, Port Elliot, Goolwa, Deep Creek Conservation park) or have an extra day or two while going to Cape Jervis/Kangaroo island.

The Beach House was clean with all the amenities we needed eg kitchen, chill out spaces, balcony overlooking the beach. The host was lovely and very customer focused but it’s the ambiance of this lovely old building I love the most.

Very nice stay here. Great Ocean views, clean room and shared bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. Easy walk to beach, shops and Cockle Train station.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating an environment that was also noticeable among guests. Great place to stay
