Polite staff and delicious breakfast...clean room and fantastic pool !I recommend it for sure ! Very nice view from the penthouse suite and extraordinary sunset. Close to Glyfada center! The restaurant is top quality !

This was a really disappointing experience for us. I would like to start by saying our room was great in terms of size but that is because it was a two bed suite. Unfortunately one room was overlooking the main road from the side, the handle was removed from that window and there was just a hole, whether this contributed to the exceptionally loud road noise I do not know but it sounded like the windows were open. Nothing a good bit of quality double glazing couldn’t fix, something you would expect a 5* hotel to have. The other issue in the other bedroom is it was overlooking the pool and only first floor. The hotel in its infinite wisdom had decided to book a wedding party on the first night of our stay, which in itself would ordinarily be fine but the music was exceptionally loud and the noise from people in general going on until well after midnight. We would have just gone to the bar and had some drinks but no, all hotel amenities were removed from all other hotel guests so you had a choice of eating in your room or getting a taxi and going out. Had the hotel had given us the courtesy of informing us before our arrival this would be the case then we would have found alternative accommodation. Apparently the managers response was you have to expect a 5* hotel would have events. Very naive and bizarre attitude from a manager. Where was our 5* hotel experience? The hotel also has a construction site in front of it so there is no longer a sea view but also there is a lot of noise from that site which rules out any relaxation around the pool, apparently it’s sporadic so you may get lucky. This hotel is advertising itself as 5* but I would class this as 3.5* at the most. I feel that the service was well below par for a 5* hotel.

Before selecting the hotel I read the reviews and knew what I wanted for our 3 day stay. The Glyfada Riviera Hotel delivered! A clean hotel was critical and free parking was essential. We wanted a pool, comfortable beds, AC, free Wifi, a safe and a modern washroom (hairdryer etc.). The staff were very responsive, one issue we had with our fob access was resolved quickly and all the staff were friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast is delicious and the service is accommodating and welcoming. There is a construction site right next door and the highway is noisy (I knew that from the reviews). We didn’t need the view and didn’t mind the noise as our room faced the side street. I would stay there again!

Everyone is friendly and helpful at all hours of the day/night. All food was at a 5 star level with taste and presentation. Cocktails delicious - they were also very happy to mix up some bespoke creations. A very comfortable bed and a good pillow selection. We would definitely stay again! Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Points forts : personnel à l’écoute et très gentil, proche Athènes parfait, plage à quelques mètres Point négatif : propreté à revoir (voir photos) Spa payant (non mentionné sur booking), extrêmement bruyant que ce soit la route ou fête dans l’hôtel, Nous avions une junior suite pour 3 personnes extrêmement petite et aucune séparation ( le lit pour la 3 eme personne c’est un canapé) Nous étions 3 personnes mais tous les jours seulement 2 serviettes de toilette Piscine très bruyante Pas de miroir dans la chambre Cela vaut un 3 étoiles et non plus.

We visited this hotel at the end of August and I am disappointed to say that it was not the stay we expected. We arrived at the hotel to find our rooms were not ready. Once we went up to our room we were shocked to see how small the room was. It just about fit 2 single beds in it, no balcony, a tiny sink which surprisingly was outside the bathroom and a shower/toilet which was uncomfortably small. The noise from the main road kept us up at night. Unfortunately, during the day was not any better. The pool service around the room was bad, there was never anyone around. At one time we had to bang on the staff door for someone to take our order. The view from the pool was a high rise construction site that provided us with the sweet sound of drilling and banging for our entire stay. The staff seemed inexperienced and lacked customer service, the only thing they were interested in was getting that signature and room number on our receipt, so much so they would chase you round the hotel for it and would ask for it as soon as we entered the breakfast room before we even sat down. They never left us any complimentary water in our room (shocking considering this is meant to be a 5* hotel) and on day number 3 when we called down to request water they said that they would have to charge us for the water and a 5 euro service charge to bring the water to our room. I have never experienced that in all my stays at a hotel. This is not a 5* hotel and it definitely should be reassessed. Having visited a 5* hotel in Thessaloniki 2 weeks prior I can say with confidence it doesn’t match the other 5* hotels in Greece. Very disappointing.
