The hotel was exactly what 'it said on the tin' good value, clean and well located but the best thing was the staff. Reception staff were helpful and pleasant and I can't sing the praises of the staff enough after my husband left his mobile behind. The housekeeping staff found it and everybody was extremely helpful when I rang up to see if it had been found. A huge thank you to everyone concerned for going the extra mile

We visited our son & his girlfriend who are both studying at Hartpury University. Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and great car park discount!. We checked in and popped our baggage in the room, which was clean and tidy. Tea and coffee was in the room, with a nice big TV and body wash/hair shampoo was in the bathroom. Lifts were handy. We chose this hotel as when my son first arrived in 2022 the rooms he was staying in had not been finished, so he stayed here for 2 weeks, so we knew the hotel. We stayed with our daughter and she slept on the extra single beds provided, we all had a great nights sleep! Breakfast was easy as we had prepaid and my daughter ate for free, also my son and his girlfriend joined us, which was lovely. Checking out was easy as you just popped your room card in the box near the exit door. The car park fee was reduced when I paid as we had been given a QR code which we scanned when we were ready to leave the car park. Overall a very pleasant stay, one we will do again when we next visit.

Easy access to the local amenities, all ok wich were in walking distance. Nice clean room and the staff were very friendly. The food we had was good and we were well looked after by the café staff. Overall a good experience.

I stayed at the travel lodge in Gloucester bed was comfy staff very friendly Ian especially friendly Service he’s knowledge of Gloucester was good very welcoming will defo stay again room was very clean food was very good polite and talkable

The elevator had vomit odor. Then, when I checked in, I got my room, which to my surprise was undone or someone was there. So I went down and got offered another room by the staff (nice and polite staff), which was at the end of a completely dirty hallway. By dirty I mean, trash on the floor, carpet is old, ripped apart and has stains on it. When I got into the room everything seemed good, but when I got inside my bed I saw the mattress had a blood stain on the right top corner. Overall, an awful experience. Never getting back.

Standard Travelodge like I have stayed in all over the country BUT it is THE NOISIEST one I have EVER stayed in with a pub directly behind with a beer garden. Soundproofing in the room is nonexistent. The music from the pub is literally shaking the walls. Asked for a room away from the pub to be told "oh it isn't that bad" and was given a room right next to the pub. 3 nights of little sleep and the music tonight is the worst yet. Earplugs barely muffle the noise. Just AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

Stayed Thursday night had an amazing breakfast on the Friday and very impressed with the service that was give by 2 new staff member Ryan and Jalal if your looking for a friendly and positive place to stay around Gloucester then I recommend cheap and cheerful

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in many years. There was a terrible smell in the room, the window wouldn’t open and the air con and TV didn’t work. The noise from the roads next to the hotel meant little sleep, got up early and checked out
