埃克蘇馬度假飯店(Hideaways Exuma)

I visited Hideaway a few years ago and loved it, I stayed in a room looking over the ocean and couldn’t wait to come back. However, this time we were taken to our room which was across the road and up the hill.. it didn’t even look like part of the hotel. When I asked if I could be in a room near the rest of the hotel (we didn’t even need see views) I was told it would be an extra $100/ night. We later spoke to some other guests who were staying in an ocean view room and they told us there were paying $40 more than us a night. Our room was tiny and my partner got electrocuted when plugging the kettle in, the kettle didn’t work. We stayed for two nights and on the first we were woken by a man banging on our door at 1.20am, I believe he was hotel staff and when I opened the door he said oh wrong room and walked off, when I mentioned this at the front desk the following day they just laughed.. it is safe to say I was very disappointed with my stay. Which is a huge shame because I have recommended this hotel to many people but sadly no longer will. Finally, the hotel was very quiet, there were very few guests staying which means several of the on site rooms would have been available and as far as we could see we were the only guests staying across the road far from everyone else.

Property nice, conveniently located. Cats a nice addition. Nice staff, good food at the restaurant. Room was ok, a little overpriced for what you get. arrived a day late due to freak freeway road closure making us late for our flight. Since booked thru ******* and low no cancel rate, wouldn't give us any adjustments. Was hoping hotel would reduce resort fees since wasn't there one night and never used cleaning services for the whole week, but manager wouldn't offer anything.

LOVED the peace and quiet of this property!! We had a little bungalow in the back and it was absolutely perfect. The restaurant had a variety of options for all 3 meals and they were all GREAT! There was some construction going on, creating more places to stay but it wasn’t loud at all and the workers were all so nice and friendly. My only suggestion would be to have maybe a little area where we could buy a few snacks without having to take a taxi into town. Other than that, fantastic!!

The cottages are clean and have basic furniture and the ability to make coffee or tea in the morning or whenever with a fridge. The walls are a bit thin, so if you have a nextdoor neighbor you may hear them. The front desk is helpful in making reservations and pleasant. The free shuttle is a great feature, but schedule could be improved with additional departure times in the morning (currently only 9am and 11am). If you want to have breakfast in Georgetown and go to another activity it may be a bit difficult, however you can usually find a taxi ro take you. It was nice to have breakfast at Splash included, it was basic, but good, more fruits would be nice. The beach is fine, but it disappears at high tide.

Everyone was fine and lovely. The property had some new fixes but overall it’s on par for the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s such a great place for traveling with kids. The villa was better than expected and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

The beach was so peaceful and staff friendly and accommodating. This was the most relaxing vacation I've had. Would definitely go back.
