I liked how this location was close to everything Gatlinburg has to offer. I did not love, however, that the hotel is right off a busy street and you can hear truck and car that goes by. It’s pretty noisy.

Good distance from all the main attractions and the rooms are in good conditions and great breakfast.

Wide awake at 2:45 am due to back pain from horrible bed and itchy, thin blankets. Trucks, semis and loud cars driving by all night. The view from the back of the property is gorgeous but doesn’t make a difference when everything else is bad. Forfeiting my second night I can’t get a refund on because I’m just so eager to get to another hotel.

Where to begin. We checked in and the manager on duty was not friendly first off. Then we put out stuff in our room went out for a hour. When we returned there was water all over the bathroom floor cause the toilet was leaking. Call down to front desk she said she would come look (same rude manager) she then said we would have to switch rooms. Ok.. but then told us that we need to bring all our stuff down to the lobby to get new keys! She could have just told us what room we was going to and met us there but that didn’t happen. New room we got the fridge barely worked. Not to mention housekeeping busting in at 9:30 when checkout is 11am. And of course there was no do not disturb sign in the room. When checking out she asked how it was and we tell her terrible and explain why just to get sorry. We wanted to stay here for a while now cause of the river but I can guarantee we won’t be back. If you’re looking to get some sleep you can forget that also! It is so noisy from doors slamming to the traffic that you can’t rest at all.

The hotel room was really nice and the bathroom doubled as a steam room, But we didn't like the walk to the actual *****. It was a little further away than we had anticipated, but the river out back was nice and soothing. The hotel room was very nice Inside. We did not like the fact that the Full breakfast downstairs ends at 9:30. No one usually gets up that early on vacation. They should extend the hours till about 10:30 to 11:00. As far as the clerk behind the desk. I See a lot of reviews where people say that she is rude. I did not get that. There are cultural differences that some people don't understand, but I honestly feel like she tries her best to maintain a professionalism that is accustomed to her. She is not American, so she is not going to give the American version of customer service. But she is not rude. She's just different and that's ok.
