It was disappointing because the Gym didn't open till after 9am which is too late for people going to work, the room was very cold and the heating system difficult to work and when I arrived for breakfast there was very little healthy food left. I'm leaving this review to help you improve as otherwise you will never know and wont understand why customers wont return to your hotel. I feel you guys have along way to go to bring it up 2023 standards.

We came to Galway to meet up with an online friend. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were friendly. Especially Karen from the housekeeping team who treated us like family.
It's a very accessible hotel and not far from town, about a 10/15 minute walk or an affordable short taxi trip.
The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were faultlessly clean.
I would stay here again

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Very helpful and in recommending places to visit. Lots of shops near by. Restaurants are 10 min cab drive away.

Staff were great and I will leave it at that. Room was freezing. No iron/ironing board etc. Food was (sorry to say) terrible. Location is also pretty grim - absolutely nothing around. Seem like in the middle of an industrial estate. Will not be returning.

Our second mid term staying there. Our room was a little more dated this time around but was on a different floor. We were at the front of the hotel this time so a little noise for kids trying to get to sleep. All that said we still have a lovely stay!

I stayed in the Maldron for three nights during the summer
with US relatives. We were very impressed with the Maldron Hotel sandy Road.. In fact I changed my allegiance to another Hotel.
Unfortunately my stay at the Maldron this time was not up to the same standard as in the summer.
1. The breakifast was cold
2. The mattress was dated
3. I had to send the chowder back to be re heated even after telling the waitress that I needed it hot....

Had a great time the hotel is in a good but not the best of locations for the main part of the city, but would stay there again. The hotel bar could do with staying open past 11 pm due to its location.
