塞倫迪布海灘飯店

Wir waren vor 2 Jahren schon einmal hier! Damals hat alles gepasst und es war wunderschön! Dieses Jahr: unterirdischer Service, Essen furchtbar! Billigstes Kokosöl zum Braten, auch für die Eier morgens, nicht essbar! Um das Braten in Butter musste ich jeden Morgen neu betteln. Abendbuffet null Abwechslung, alles kalt! Kalte Getränke, Fehlanzeige, kein Bier an 2 Tagen, warmes Soda! Beim Manager beschwert, Achselzucken geerntet! Wir haben dann in den schônen kleinen Restaurants im Ort gegessen. Ein Wochenende war eine Gruppe aus Colombo im Hotel, ca 40 Leute! Die haben nur gesoffen, Karaoke gesungen, im Pool Pommes gegessen( und diesen komplett zugesaut) und Lärm gemacht. Beschwerde beim Manager: exakt! Morgen wären die wieder weg! Sogar unseren lieben Tuktukfahrer haben die beleidigt und geschlagen! Wir haben dann das Hotel verlassen , sind in den Beach Club geflüchtet. Volltrunkene muss ich im Urlaub nicht haben! Eine extrem unschöne Erfahrung. Wir haben das dann der Hotelbesitzerin vorgetragen, sie hat das bedauert. Geändert hat sich nix! Auch am Service nicht! Dass wir nicht mehr dort gegessen haben wurde auch nicht zur Kenntnis genommen, ich hatte den Eindruck, das kam grad recht! An einem Abend hat der Hotelbesitzer mit Freunden ein BBQ veranstaltet! Wir hofften sehr, dass wir von den leckeren Grillsachen auch was bekämen! Ebenfalls Fehlanzeige! Für uns gabs eiskaltes Huhn! Ein absolutes No-Go! Fazit: Nie wieder Serendib!

酒店靠近大海和游泳池，白天有很多陰涼處。此外，房間裡的空調很好，房間本身的景色很美，而且很寬敞。而且酒店一點也不擁擠，可能是因為新冠疫情。現在的問題是： - 服務非常慢，我們必須等待很長時間才能得到任何東西，從他們忘記給我們的新毛巾到我們要求與我們分享的火車站時間表。我們真的不得不四處尋找東西才能得到我們想要的東西，並提醒我們需要打掃房間，我們需要淡水等等。 - 並不是所有的東西都說著流利的英語，很難溝通，而且他們也沒有嘗試解決問題這個問題（比如打電話給英語水平更好的同事），他們只會微笑著離開——床單和毛巾質量很差，而且有洞，看看這裡的評論，我認為他們自 2019 年以來就沒有改變過——餐廳的食物還可以，但是服務很慢，有一次我一直要求給我拿菜單，花了大約40分鐘給我的朋友點更多的食物，最後得到的答復是“哦，廚房已經關門了” 。不過，經理很快介入並解決了這個問題。 - 無線網絡很糟糕。 - 房間打掃得很差，有時在多次提醒後總的來說，我認為儘管位置優越，但價格過高，我真的希望這個地方能夠改善工作人員的態度、床單質量和網絡。

We visited this hotel in August 2023 after a week-long island tour. We were going to spend a whole week here. The ocean was quite rough, but the beach and pool were in perfect condition. The staff carefully monitored the cleanliness of the territory.The hotel itself made a pleasant impression on us — it is small and atmospheric. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. The food was modest but nutritious, and we were not hungry.I would especially like to mention the staff — they were all very nice and friendly. I would especially like to highlight the hostess of the hotel — she was very hospitable and friendly. She treated us to fresh local pastries. You could always contact her with any questions. It was clear that she was a real hostess who took care of her hotel and kept the staff on their toes. As we understand it, this is a family businessOverall, it was a wonderful vacation. It's usually quiet here, but there are a lot of visitors on weekends, and it can be noisy. The atmosphere on the ocean reminded me of a childhood movie, "Treasure Island", by Lewis Stevenson. If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of seclusion, village life, nature and the ocean, then you are here.

I was blessed to spend my "Birthday- Family" weekend at dear Serandib! Hotel is very calm and quiet compared to most of the down south beach hotels. from the reception to pool-bar all the staff were gentle and willing to help. Rooms were very spacious and super clean. They had amazing private beach where only few people were occupied and had plenty to leisurely relax and day dream in your own bubble. In general my kids are very enthusiastic but unbelievably the hotel visit ended up giving me and my husband a relaxing weekend as kids were over the moon with hotel!!!

Me and my wife stayed there for 2 days, being the second day of our anniversary. I would strongly not recommend this hotel as it has several issues. Rooms - we had booked a room with king bed and got it. However the AC stopped working in the night and we had to move to a different room where they wanted us to stay in a twin bed room being a husband wife spending our anniversary. And the more surprisingly, when we had to change the room coj of no option, staff were watching me n wife carrying our luggages by ourselves from existing room to the other. They didn't even bother to help. Room sizes are good but very very poorly maintained. Sea facing rooms have good views. Food and Beverage - the most pathetic part is their F&B. Chipped, stained crockery, cutlery and glasses. Buffet looks and feels absolutely horrifying. Choices are very local, limited and not as per international standards. So international people be very careful choosing this place. We had only breakfast and avoided any meals. Fruits are very cheap anywhere in Srilanka but they give almost nothing only 2 choices - watermelon and papaya that too also almost very prior stage of being rotten. We had food in both the days in different restaurant which is nearby and amazingly good. Room service menu has sandwich, pasta, and soft drinks. House Keeping - almost doesn't exist. They don't have any kit. No duvet, so if u feel cold just put the ac off and then when you feel warm put the AC on which may hamper your sleep. The 2nd option is you can ask for 2 - 3 bed sheets. Insect and ants almost everywhere. Overall very lousy hotel. You can search other hotels nearby where the rates are almost same but they provide great experience.
