蓋恩斯維爾小屋飯店(Gainesville Lodge)

Friendly staff, wifi, decent mattress, quiet. BUT this motel is in very poor condition and I was surprised and disappointed. It was close to the airport and budget friendly, but much more worn down than the pictures described. Some things had been updated but especially the shower was dark and very old and didn't look especially clean. Our taxi driver was a local and told us this motel is not a family friendly setting and is in a unsafe part of town. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, and lack of other guests made our stay undisturbed, but I would pay more next time for nicer and safer accommodations.

This is an older property - used to be a Travelodge - but it has everything we need for an overnight stay. Within easy walking distance of the restaurants, etc. in Gainesville. LOTS of cable channels!. Mini fridge and microwave.

Small older property but nice and clean. We come to town for the Gators football game, and wanted to stay close. Less than half hour walk to the stadium. Only complaint is the parking lot is kinda tight.

This used to be a TravelLodge. They’ve renovated. It is basic, clean, and I love being able to leave the car and walk to dinner. Many casual and upscale restaurants nearby. Looks like nightlife as well, but due to work hours, I couldn’t partake.

Room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for months without opening any windows or doors. Bedspread had burn marks, A/C unit had thick buildup and had not been cleaned in a long time.

Just returned from our second stay. Will be back! Old Travel Lodge meticulously maintained. Multiple families working cooperatively. Frequent smiles and kindness from owners and staff. Kids laughing, having fun and being good to each other. Love it!

Simple digs, clean, well located for walking to restaurants. It is perfect for work travel.

Property is located in a walking distance to downtown Gainesville. It was very quiet. We stayed for two nights and slept like babies. The staff cleaned the room on the daily basis. The room was basic, with refrigerator, microwave, WIFI and bathroom. The ice machine was outside and could get the bucket filled in a very short distance near the office. There was no coffee or breakfast over there but we could find local restaurants near by. When evaluated with overall aspects, including cost of stay, we gave this motel a thumb up. We will stay here again next year when visiting Gainesville.

Super dirty place. Location is excellent in terms of walking distance to all the night life. But this is a really dirty place. Cockroaches. The toilet is clogged. The AC is super loud. I understand this is a budget motel. But we just want standard clearness. Towel and bedsheets are old. Shower water pressure is low. This is a place for you get drunk and pass out. But it is not comfortable stay. I woild suggest the owner really do cleaning to this place.
