佩尼磨坊住宿旅館(Stay at Penny's Mill)

Stayed at Penny's Mill for three nights, a really lovely family couples or singles destination. Rosie and Bill ideal hosts. A lovely room, with a separate lounge/sitting room with a log fire that Bill kindly lit for us. The breakfast was excellent quality, we were offered Full English or Smoked Salmon. Nunney is a lovely little village with a pub the George. We enjoyed our stay with Rosie Bill and the two cats . Thoroughly recommend.

What a beautiful house, stunning location, and wonderful hosts. We wanted a relaxing few nights away, and our stay was exactly that. Our hosts welcomed us into their home and provided every amenity you require and then some. The breakfasts were amazing, especially the homemade bread! Directions and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Great location for longkeat and Bath. One of those places on our must return list. Thank you for your hospitality. Andrea and Andrew.

Without doubt, one of the very best places we have ever stayed. Bill and Rosie are the perfect hosts - nothing is too much trouble. The Studio is beautifully situated with a wonderful garden and river view from the balcony. The constant hum of the river is very soothing. The Studio is cleverly arranged to enable guests to have access to facilities that make the stay so easy: tea and coffee aplenty; a microwave; fridge; TV; books; CDs; DVDs; ensuite...the list is endless. The breakfast was truly awesome - homemade jams and marmalade, sourdough and the choice of full English or part thereof, even smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. It is better than a home-from-home as neither of us had to cook!! Parking is great, off-road and safe. We are already planning a return trip simply because so infrequently does the description of holiday accommodation actually match reality that we want to make the most of it before everyone else finds out! I love staying at Penny’s Mill. I am frequently in the area because of work and I stay with Rosie and Bill every time they have availability. They are the loveliest hosts and so accommodating. The breakfast is amazing, the bed super comfy and the house and garden are just stunning.

Our weekend at Penny's Mill was wonderful. A comfortable bed, perfect tranquility, well thought out and equipped room combined with a warm welcome from Rosie and Bill who are delightful hosts made our stay memorable. We enjoyed the breakfasts and chatting to Rosie and Bill, who recommended interesting places to visit. All in all, great value for money. We will stay there again!

The perfect place for our stay. Thank you to Bill and Rosie for being such amazing hosts. Beautiful house and very quiet location in the middle of the Somerset countryside but close to local attractions and shop/restaurants/pubs. The family suite is superb and our two young children, one of whom autistic, loved it! Luxury feeling throughout. Bill and Rosie provided everything we needed to make our stay perfectly comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful village and scenary. Delicious breakfast, especially the home made breakfast. Lovely and gorgeous cats in the house. Now that we know our children love it, we'll definitely be back. Thank you Bill and Rosie!

We stayed in the family suite and I cannot rate our stay highly enough. There is no need that a family could have that they have not anticipated. Large bottle of fresh milk in fridge - tick. Wine opener - big tick. Toys, nappy bin, stair gate, DVDs (hundreds), story books, night lights for kids- tick, tick, tick. Ginormous bed, black out blinds, shampoo & conditioner - tick. Breakfast was another absolutely delightful experience. Rosie kindly cooked all of our random assortment of orders and I have not had such a velvety plate of scrambled eggs in forever. Beans, sausages, bacon, home baked bread and jams, fresh berries, cereals, the whole kit and kabodle. The setting is magical - a rushing brook, cobbled walls, a gorgeous seating area in a sun trap. Bill and Rosie are the most wonderful team and such a joy to chat to. It is the first place I will look to stay again when we visit family in the area.

Our thanks for sharing your delightful home with us. Our bedroom (Polly's Room) was so comfortable, with the added bonus of our own sitting room next door! Rosie's breakfasts were excellent, with various tastes catered for. Nunney is a good place for exploring the interesting & historic sites of Somerset. Paul & Tricia
