晴朗巷公寓

We were just tucked up behind the main road in a studio room. Had everything you could want and more. Great pool, cold, but that’s how I like them. We could easily walk into the Main Street to choose from the plentiful choices off coffee and food outlets after shopping in the many boutique type shops. Would thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and secure with a well equipped kitchen. The town is an easy walk in what feels like a safe neighbourhood. There is a pool and driveway parking. We would certainly recommend. Martin and Sheila.

Excellent proximity to main street and all major facilities in Franschhoek, a very warm and consideratr host and beautiful place to sleep at and stay in during the day!

A great spot for a quiet, romantic getaway that is still close enough to town to walk there. No load-shedding (!), easy access, wifi, satellite TV, full kitchen. Has a gas heater for those cold winter nights.

Arriving on a warm evening, and after dropping my bags, it was a quick drive (or I could have walked) to the nearest grocery store to find supper. An alternative would have been one of many restaurants I passed, from casual to chic. Back "home", I found the patio/porch the ideal place to sit and unwind. It is quiet and secluded. There was a welcoming basket of shortbread to nibble with my evening tea (an assortment of tea and coffee was available, along with fresh milk in the fridge.) These thoughtful touches made me feel so welcome - Barbara is a wonderful host.

We stayed at Sunny Lane most of January 2023 (4 weeks) and have nothing but praise for this place. Centrally located just a couple of blocks away form the main street (where most of the shops and restaurants are), yet so quiet and peaceful. We stayed at their big unit (there’s one big and one small). This was a spacious flat with lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All rooms of generous size. Lots of wardrobe space as well. Well equipped kitchen. Outside area consisted of a big shady porch with dining table and two comfortable chairs + a shared, well-sized pool with a small lawn/sunlounging area. (shared only with the other unit). The host, Barbara, was always discreet, but very helpful if you asked for anything. Just as we like it. We loved this place so much, we already booked our next stay!
