山牆莊園飯店(Gable Manor)

Charmant verblijf met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Grote kamers met airco. We hadden 3 kamers voor 5 personen. In de avond kun je in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte de open haard aanmaken. In juli is dit ook zeker nodig omdat het afkoelt. Ontbijt was prima.

Great relaxing stay, out of the mainstream but in touch with all the places we needed to see. Great rooms with lovely beds. Couldn't have asked for more. Breakfasts were just what we needed and the staff were so helpful. We will certainly come back

Beautiful and quite place, the location is very good, not in the center, but also not to far out. very nice and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, enjoyed my stay very much. Thanks for the lovely time.

The interior is old and dated but nice enough. Unfortunately not for the price. Outside is also not well kept. No one available except from 8-10 and 3-5. No real attentiveness and no feeling of caring

Spent my last day on holiday, reading by the pool in the shade. Really cute place.

beautiful house in the middle of the wine route, peacefull setting and well managed. thank you for your attention. the location is perfect for visiting the town and enjoying the multitude of restaurents it offers.

Nice B&B in a good area only a 10 minutes walk from downtown. Great service. Do recommend.

Gable Manor, a small cosy comfortable little home from home. The service is limited due to the sice of the hotel/BB. Load shedding every day, but we managed well because of ekstra lamps from the BB staff. Christell fixed! A smal pool surrounded by a lush garden. Clean sheets on the sun chairs everyday. The breakfast staff was amazing. Miss them already. They fixed us what ever we wanted even though it was in the middle of a load shedding period. Franschhoek is a culinary cradle of South Africa. They have the beautiful wine-train that takes you around from vineyards to wineries. A must. The town itself with its history is also something to take in mind. The Saturday marked is also a must.

We were made very welcome form arrival and taken on a tour of the hotel to our fab room which was more like a suite than a double, breakfast the following morning was excellent and more than ample to start our next day of our holiday
