Een prachtig, royaal huis voorzien van alle gemakken, luxe en heel veel (keuken)spullen. De ligging van het huis is fantastisch met uitzicht op Ben Nevis en Loch Linnhe. Herten , schapen, highlanders; ze zijn allemaal te spotten in de tuin of het land dichtbij het huis.De communicatie met Nicki, eigenaresse, was snel, hartelijk en belangstellend. Dank he wel dat we in je huis mochten verblijven; we houden er warme herinneringen aan.

Ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in perfekter Lage zum Entspannen Dieses wirklich großzügige Ferienobjekt bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich für eine Weile zurückzuziehen und zu entspannen. Wir haben besonderen Wert auf Abgeschiedenheit gelegt und genau das bekommen. Dennoch wird es nicht langweilig, denn das Haus bietet ständig wechselnde, immer spannende Ausblicke auf Loch Linnhe und die dahinter liegende Bergkette um Ben Nevis. Das große, gut gepflegte Grundstück hat einen eigenen Zugang zum Loch, wo man am Steinstrand schlendern oder abends am Feuer sitzen kann. Die abgeschiedene Lage lockt einheimische Wildtiere wie Hirsche auf das Grundstück. Im Glen hinter dem Haus kann man wandern und Pilze suchen. Fort William und Glencoe sind gut zu erreichen; Fort William z. B. über eine Fußgänger- und Radfahrerfähre. Mit dem Auto dauert es etwa 30 bis 45 min bis Fort William oder Glencoe (mit Autofähre). Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und entspricht vollkommen der Beschreibung: 2 wunderschön eingerichtete, große Schlafzimmer und ein drittes kleineres bieten 6 Personen bequem Platz. Die beiden Bäder (Eckbadewanne+Dusche+WC bzw. Dusche+WC) sind hochwertig eingerichtet. Küche und Essbereich sind mit allem bestückt, was Selbstversorger brauchen. Zeitvertreib bei schlechtem Wetter bieten TVs, Radio, Bücher, DVDs und Spiele. An- und Abreise sind dank Schlüsselsafe ganz einfach und der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich mit prompter Antwort auf jede Frage.

Grosszügiges Haus mit viel Umschwung mitten in der Natur Wir haben die Woche in Nikkis Familien-Anwesen sehr genossen. Vor allem die Abgeschiedenheit, die exklusive Lage am Loch Linnhe und der grosszügige Platz im und um das Haus herum haben uns sehr gefallen. Im etwas kleinen aber sehr gemütlichen Wintergarten beobachteten wir bei einem Glas Wein reichlich Wetter- und Wildlife-Sightseeing.

Superb!!! Marvelous house with an unbelievable insane beautiful view from the great and big windows looking at the loch, sky, mountains and the big garden next to the beach of the loch! Fantastic beds and good equipment in the kitchen, 2 ovens and magnetron & easy cooking on induction. One big bathroom with shower & WC and one shower & WC. Enormous bath towels very comfortable & some small.Comfortable sitting room and a nice conservatory in front of the house. And every day the sheep visited and in evening time the deer!!It’s worth to drive the single track road of approx. 8 miles (from the ferry to the house). Lots to see & discover a couple of walking trails.We were sorry to leave!!

Wonderful Stay Dalendrien We stayed at Dalendrien to celebrate a 50th birthday, and wow – what an incredible place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The champagne and birthday card were such thoughtful touches and set the tone for a truly special stay.The house itself is amazing – beautifully kept with fantastic attention to detail, and those views! Every window offered a stunning panorama, making wildlife watching an absolute joy. We were treated to nightly visits from a pine marten, three majestic stags in the garden, numerous deer, and even a barn owl flying overhead. We also spotted an otter in the loch and were lucky enough to see a white-tailed eagle soaring above it – unforgettable!It was the perfect break in every way. Peaceful, scenic, and full of wildlife – we didn’t want to leave. A huge thank you to Nicki for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Nestled in the heart of God’s land, Dalendrien offers a perfect sanctuary for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a connection to nature that’s truly unparalleled.Every detail of the property has been carefully considered, from the immaculate cleanliness to the breathtaking views that greet you at every window. The warmth and care in the design and upkeep reflect a level of methodical attention that is simply remarkable. As a family, we found everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cosy living spaces that made every evening feel like a dream.The surrounding area is nothing short of divine – a testament to the grandeur of nature and the wonder of Scotland’s wild beauty. Peaceful, relaxing, great location & Nevis view For my sixth time over the past ten years I planned a week of outdoor adventure travelling up from Leicestershire to Fort William. This year, we decided on a change of accommodation from our usual chalet approach in nearby Blaich. Dalendrien proofed a welcome change! In particular we found the place to have a surprising amount of open space once settled in & winding down to relax. The living room and kitchen diner is a cosy set up with wonderful views out to Loch Eil to the front and Ben Nevis and its mountain range to the side. We felt as a group of two Brothers, a Father and Uncle - that we all had ample space to wind down, relax, find our own space, at the same time as enjoying a spacious communal area at the end of a long day's outdoor activity! The hour is wonderfully kitted-out with all you might need to cook and make the place your own for the week. From everything needed in a functioning kitchen, to a very interesting range of books and games, in some cases dating back a good few decades - which adds a certain character & feel of longevity to the place. Bathrooms are particularly nicely done, modern, and bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of thoughtful touches and pleasant décor to complete. Don't forget the cows! The Highland Cows! haha And plenty of bird life for the avid birdwatcher. Annoyingly, vrbo have limited characters for my review :-/ So I guess, I must leave saying, "we had a great time, thank you!"

Dalendrien is a single storey house, sleeping 6, stunningly positioned on its own peninsula on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe. a long sea inlet running from the Isle of Mull inland to the slopes of Ben Nevis, and sits on the quiet north shore of the loch just off the scenic road which runs from Fort William to the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula. It nestles in three acres of grounds with shoreline and slipway, some 25 miles from Fort William and 8 miles north of the Corran Ferry at Ardgour. The house has deceptively spacious rooms which have magnificent views looking over the loch to the mountains of Glen Coe and Ben Nevis itself. The house is comfortably furnished with loch and mountain views from most rooms. The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom with wash basin, (a cot and extra folding bed for a child are available), spacious living/dining room with open fire, conservatory, and a large kitchen that is very well equipped. Around the house there is an abundance of wildlife and walks up the glen behind, fishing off our shoreline and some have even braved swimming in the loch, but a wet suit is essential.
