尼維斯山莊基地營飯店(The Base Camp Hotel, Nevis Range)

Very kind and loyal hotel I will recommend for everyone.

Nice view, great for people going ski

Perfect for one night day 

Location, room and view were all good. Room was nice and clean with decent tea/coffee. But the adjoining cafe for breakfast was expensive : £6:95 for a bowl of porridge. And they had no continental breakfast option. The adjacent bar only served meals (burgers) on weekends.

This was everything a modern hotel should be; functional, clean and stylish in a modern, un-cluttered way. After a good night's sleep, we popped over to the café and had a really good breakfast before driving the 15 minutes to the foot of Ben Nevis... the perfect preparation for a long day climbing. The only caveat was that the TV didn't seem to have the usual Freeview Channels and so we had nothing to watch although, to be fair, I was too tired to ask reception so it might have been another user error on my part,

While my stay was not horrible. It was certainly not as expected. Firstly. We were given a disability room. This was a bit uncomfortable. When we asked about it we were met with a "its fine" the shower was designed for persons using wheelchairs and was not pleasant at all to use. Same with the toilet and sink. The hallways are like echo chambers. You can hear everything. The doors also have a loud bang when closing. Bad for when other guests return at night. We were there, obviously during off season. It was not busy. The bar/restaurant was very limited. You could order a burger or a burger. Overall it was ok. Also note: although they describe having premium channel's. There is in fact NO tv channels. You can stream from your own device only.

Visited the hotel in summer for mountain walking and it seems like it would also be a great location for skiing and cycling. It was clean and secure with a friendly helpful check in. The family room was small and basic with no lounge area so best for a family planning outdoor activities all day. The food in the bar and breakfast were good. On check out morning staff were busy and it felt somewhat understaffed.

Chambre agréable et très propre et literie confortable. Le personnel est agréable et serviable. Nous sommes arrivés tard mais au restaurant, ils se sont mis en 4 pour nous trouver de quoi manger et tout cela dans la bonne humeur. Endroit très calme. J'avais demandé avec un supplément pour une vue sur montagne, ce qui nous a été fourni mais... La vue montagne au dessus du toit en tôle du restaurant. Cela ne valait donc évidemment pas le supplément. C'est la seule déception pour cet hôtel.
