福雷斯特城I-40品質飯店(Quality Inn Forrest City I-40)

the property is in complete disrepair. paper signs at front desk with peeling tape sets the tone. I did not get the room I booked but it would be so much work to complain. room is shabby, fan makes awful noise, fridge rocks. a piece of microwave hanging off. found someone’s empty drink bottle on the floor near bed. stairway badly rusted. entrance door has a big piece of wood missing. you’re on a busy highway! No coffee in lobby. it is grim.desk chair has greasy fingerprints on it. TV decent. Fridge has a freezer.

Initially we were not certain about this facility. We arrived early and were not certain that the place was even in operation. Once we met receptionist we were made to feel at home. It is an older facility that has been renovated to the degree possible. Yes, it is outdated but you appreciate the effort being made to improve community resources.

Took forever to check in. Overall nice property.

Carpet frayed, plumbing doesn’t look professional, ceiling peeling in spots

Easy to get off & on the interstate highway.

Elevator was broke . Was a bit, difficult taking luggage upstairs by our selves. We in our lat 60’s and it could been more convenient room was typical someone’s hair on the bathroom floor…

This property was extremely clean, well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast provided was the typical hot breakfast items found at hotels like this. However the quality of those items were better than I have had at other properties. This was a mid journey stay of one night. We will likely stop again on our return.

It took 30 minutes for check-in. I was double charged for the pet fee, and the receptionist was unable to reverse one of the charges. She stated that she “was new” and needed to call someone to assist. I finally told her I would come back to take care of it. My husband and I finally got our car unpacked and found the bathroom floor had standing water on it from the toilet overflowing. We wen back to the lobby to request a new room. In the new room we were given the TV wasn’t working/connected. We called the front desk and she said she would call us back. I ended up re-booting the cable box myself. About 30 minutes later the clerk came to the door to “troubleshoot” the TV. I’m still waiting for the double charged pet fee to be returned. Not a good experience, especially after driving for 14 hours with 2 small dogs in the car.

Decent for a passing through. The birds were chirping outside the door before it was light out and woke us. Good price. Good breakfast.
