"My husband and I booked a last minute trip to Montana for our 20th wedding anniversary last month and I was excited to discover The Larch House. Even though we would not typically spend $800/night on a hotel- we do have three kids we gotta put through college!- we decided to splurge since it was a special occasion. The room was well decorated and the rooftop hot tub was nice- but that's about it. The service was far below what I've experienced at other luxury hotels. At Larch House you have to make a special request for daily housekeeping, and even then they did not take out the garbage or replace the glassware the entire time we were there! We used the same dirty glasses over and over. But I think the thing that really put it over the top for me was the fact that our room opened out onto a parking lot and alley, requiring us to walk past a row of dumpsters reeking of garbage in order to access our room. On our last morning there, I was driven out of bed at 8am by a roaring sanitation truck pumping sewage right outside our door. Like, what?!?! For $800 a night?? We felt like a total chumps. I've been fortunate to stay in some pretty fabulous places over the years, and sadly this was definitely not one of them."

"Good Medicine Lodge is special. It’s everything you expect a high rated bed and breakfast to be. It is beautiful and comfortable and homey and so clean!! The breakfasts have all been delicious! The afternoon snacks are such a sweet treat! The complimentary snacks and drinks offered are such an added bonus! They offer the use of bear spray at no charge. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings to relax. Everything is thought out down to the slippers and fresh water in the room. However, the best part of all of it is the staff! Shayla, Megan, and Meghan have been so hospitable and kind - always making sure we had what we needed and offering great suggestions of places to go/see! If/when we get to come back to Whitefish, we will definitely stay here again!"

"Very close to the west gate of the park, because it is off-season, there are not many people staying, very quiet, if there are many people staying, it may be noisy, the room sound insulation is not good. The window contains Xiling Qianqiu Snow, and the snow-capped mountains can be seen on the bed, which is great!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moose Cabins. It’s a wonderful location just twelve minutes from the West Glacier entrance to the park. Also just a short distance to C Falls and Whitefish. The cabins are extremely well equipped for daily hikes with maps, bear spray and items for packing lunches. The owners are very available and quite knowledgeable about nearby activities. Highly recommend! And of course the Park is incredible."
