What we thought was going to be a pretty lakeside hotel turned out to be a room across a bridgeway next to a noisy road overlooking a parking lot. Way overpriced for what it was. They actually had the audacity to charge you $55/ hour to use a beat up old kayak while charging $600 for a lousy room. Overcrowded pool and hot tub and no good access to use the lake. Actually had to go to the city beach. Dining facilities way overpriced and average quality. The pool and hot tub in the " roadside " facility wasn't working despite it being a high occupancy weekend. There was terrible ventilation in the below average exercise facility. Overall incredibly disappointing and couldn't wait to leave. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Disappointed that room was not in main lodge but in building across the street. I didn’t realize when I booked- and since resort is over a mile from town center, most of the action is at the main lodge. The secondary building felt isolated. There is a connecting skywalk, but it still feels like it’s not part of the lodge. I’m sure the price reflected the location, but I would not have booked there had the layout been a little more clearly described. Also disappointed in early dinner at the Boat Club Bar. Restaurant was almost empty but we were given a table just adjacent to the main aisle that staff and patrons continually walked thru. Then, just as our meal arrived, 5 or 6 servers started a big wipe down of table legs, chair legs etc, vigorously cleaning on their hands and knees. We felt like we were in the way! Seems like a project to be completed when the restaurant (or that section) is closed. Not conducive to a pleasant meal. On a positive note, staff was very pleasant and professional. In particular, housekeeping and maintenance were very kind and helpful. Also the lodge is very lovely and our room was quite comfortable.

We had the best experience at the lodge. Fantastic customer service, cleanliness, great amenities, we just really loved the place. The concierge was helpful with activities nearby and recommendations inside of Glacier NP. We preferred to eat at the Tiki bar instead of going out with the view of the lake, good food, and fun atmosphere. I would really like to come back!

This is truly a great hotel. I am originally from the area, and enjoy coming back and this is by far the best place for dining with a view. We had originally booked a king room and we put in two queens, and I just wish we had been informed of this before checking in. The room is still amazing, but I probably would have seen if I could have upgraded to the bed size we wanted.

They were remodeling and trying to improve, so we understood that process. We were disappointed by sheets on the beds with large rips. We reported this to the front desk and were told they would be replaced, but that didn’t happen.

Excellent old style grand lodge on the lake. Their lake front rooms have balconies and beautiful views. Staff is attentive. Yoga in the morning on the lawn is perfect. Food is good.

Loved the property, but the shampoo/conditioner and soap in the room is horrible. for the cost per night they should offer better quality products in the room

Loved our stay there. Room was awesome. We enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return!
