Hyatt House Fishkill

This wonderful home away from home was perfect for us for the week we were in New York for a funeral. I wish I had known that pets were allowed as we could have brought our dog. Everything about this place was perfect for our stay -- the staff especially were super friendly. I would recommend this place for anybody who needed to stay for more than a day or so.

It was an okay stay, no towels in the room or pool area for the entire stay, pull out bed was dirty looked like dead bugs skin on it.

Check in was smooth and they hit you with $50 deposit. We find our room a cold 63 degrees when it is 25 degrees outside. NO clean blankets!!!! Sofabed with blood stain. This is a hyatt???

The property is very near a major shopping center but unfortunately I’ll experience there was not rememberable. The first room that we received was unfortunately not kept and the second room, the bathroom shower smelt of urine. We will not stay there again.

Room accommodated my wheelchair & special needs; respectful staff, professional, show up to fix issues. Beds & blankets were not really comfy. Breakfast starts too early & ends too late. Otherwise, wonderful place,

The front desk allowed us to check in early which was wonderful. However we had a pool day planned with family and they closed the pool 24 hours after we arrived.

Liz at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The tall, young lady that does the breakfast buffet was working hard every morning and was very fast and efficient and on top of refilling the buffet.

I needed a hotel room at the last minute, and chose this property because it was within walking distance. My room was nice and clean, but the bed was a little too firm for my taste. And I thought it was odd that the window in my room had no draperies. Overall my stay was pleasant.

I was given a room on the second floor with no view to look out of the window, the room smelled like fried chicken. The furniture was very old and worn. The heat came on for a few minutes even at 82 the room was cold. The bed wasn’t comfortable. The shower was clean and nice hot water. The next day before my check out the maid kept coming to knock on my door at 8, 9 and 10 luckily I had the pad lock on so she couldn’t get in. My check out time was 12noon. Won’t stay ever again and won’t recommend to anyone.
