維多利亞飯店(Hotel Victoria)

Hôtel en plein centre-ville face à la gare ce qui peut s'avérer éventuellement gênant pour certains clients. La chambre était vieillotte mais sinon rien à y redire. Elle était spacieuse, confortable. Agréable en somme. Personnel pouvant s'exprimer en français. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Place de parking gratuite devant l'hôtel. Attention places limitées. Hôtel acceptant les chiens sans surcharge.

Our room was at the front, with a small balcony overlooking the station. Pleasant views of the mountains. Dinner was well presented but with limited options. Central location. The lack of air conditioning was an issue as the weather was very warm. Had to sleep with the balcony doors open, so noise from the trains was a problem.

Poor hotel more like a hostel. Went as part of Riviera Travel holiday. VERY disappointed when first entered room. Very basic room and it’s make your own bed! Toilet seat came off in my hand as I lifted it. Why did the cleaner not report it or was it not cleaned?? Reported to manager who said it would be repaired at 1630. At 1730 reported it again! Male manager appeared and tried to fix it. No good, have to get another one or parts from another toilet! Whilst we had dinner, his son had to mend it as he had “anger issues whilst attempting repair” Unbelievable! Poor dining room with no space and very hot as no ventilation! Food passable but very basic. Tried to get a drink later from bar but was ignored in preference of local people. Family then started a major domestic over who should be serving Toilet and cistern were not fixed to wall so wobbled loosely every time it was used, wrinkled Lino in bathroom and shower was fixed so could not raise the shower head. Wake up Riviera or you will definitely be losing customers Very disappointed over all

Spent four nights as part off a group booking. Good location, we had a room at the rear so no road/train noise.Room basic..comfy bed, good shower, descent breakfast. Wonderful staff. Now not so good. No fridge . Just needs a mini one. The biggest let down was the Dining Room. Different from the breakfast room. It was down in what seems to be a cellar. Tables tightly packed, extremely hot, flies everywhere. Had to pass the plates to the server as no room to get passed. Resembled a works canteen. Food was passable and hot and the girl worked like a Trojan horse. On the last night she was left to attend to 34 people on her own. Not Good enough.

Clean and but dated room. The dinner was well cooked but with limited options, included in the half board. The bar was nice with reasonable prices for switzerland. Staff was ok, some friendly and some just efficient. The location is very good but it could noisy from the train station. There is no air-condition so If is warm you need the window open. Overall we enjoyed Brig and the hotel. It is what expect from a 3 star hotel.

Okay the hotel was a bit dated but spotlessly clean. We found the food very good especially the pork escalopes, the chicken and mushroom and the fish. Breakfast was very good and the boiled eggs were spot on. The staff were welcoming and good at dealing with awkward customers. We would recommend. Central for all the trips

Super gelegen, sehr freundliches Personal.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel Victoria total zufrieden. Lage, Zimmer, Frühstück und die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren perfekt. Der Preis ist unschlagbar.

Buchte das sogenannte Doppelzimmer 20 m2 (CHF 138/ Nacht) , da Einzelzimmer nur 12 m2 gross sind . Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert, aber trotzdem ist alles sehr eng, der Baustiel erlaubt max. 178 cm grosse Personen in der Dusche, sonst stösst man mit dem Kopf and die Decke. Duschtücher sehr, sehr dünn. Beleuchtung absolut minimal. Es hat auch nur die typisch altmodischen 2 x 90 cm Betten. Doppelbetten so ab 140 cm breit wäre ein Luxus. Kein Kühlschrank. Kaffee Zubereitung mit Wasserkocher und Pappbecher. Safe 15x 12 cm gross in dunkler Ecke im Schrank ( Taschenlampe nicht vergessen). Max. 2 1/2 Stern Hotel. Ja, man bezahlt für dIe Lage direkt beim Bahnhof.
