Captain’s Quarters was very clean, the staff/owner was very friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to getting around the area.

Quiet motel conveniently located within minutes of restaurants and shops. Clean and simple rooms with free breakfast and recommended activities for the weekend. This is our third time at Captain’s Quarters and I’m sure we’ll be back!

Everything we needed! Cleanliness can’t be beat. Breakfast was simple, but enough variety. Everything was just right!

It was a very quaint family owned motel. We were one of the last to be there as their summer season was ending. The room was clean and quiet. It was not far from the lake, restaurants and shopping.

This is a nice little motel very near (30 minute walk) to the central area of Saugatuck and also pretty close to Douglas. It's basic, but in very good condiiton, very quiet, and the owners, who are also the people running the property, are very friendly. I also liked the continental breakfast. My only concern is that you have to check in by 8:00 because that's when the office closes, so if you're going to be arriving late, this property would not be a good fit.

So the property owners are just such a gem. They did an excellent job making sure we knew the fun things to do in town. Where to eat. Where to avoid. Breakfast was minimal, but who wants to eat breakfast at a motel when you have the insanely amazing options to have breakfast downtown Saugatuck. The Grow has one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Anyway, the hotel was clean, no smell, quiet, and close to town. We will definitely stay again.
