First at check-in, I went by the hotel before check in to ask about changing my room from a king to two queens because of accident during the booking it changed without my notice. I was told there was no problem. I get back to check in and then get told I have to pay an extra $15 to do this which doesn’t sound like a lot but I feel I should have been told that when I went in first. So I decided to keep the original room. They check me in and we go to the room. This hotel has recently been renovated and in my room baseboards where falling off and you can tell it was cheaply done. We are in our room trying to get ready to go to the pool and the maintenance guy just walks in our room no knock no nothing. Which at that now has my daughter scared just anyone can walk in. He proceeded to tells us sorry he didn’t know we where in there because that room was not supposed to be booked because it needed repairs. I had already fixed the rubber bases boards falling off so I told it was fine. Twenty minutes later it starts to rain and the room is leaking water into. So at that time I do go to the front desk and they do change my room but the second room wasn’t in much better shape. The pool is only open to 6 which I feel is ridiculous when it doesn’t even get dark until 9 pm right now. Wasn’t really happy with customer service at all. I wouldn’t recommend them.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable

Our first room had about 8 bullet holes in the front door, that had been patched and painted over. The whole place smelled like ****, indoor and out. The bathroom in the first room had been renovated with a newer walk in shower. That was the key plus before switching rooms. The second room we moved to was inside (nonsmoking). This room had a bullet hole in the window that didn’t fully penetrate the window. The tub had been sanded down so it was different colors that made it appear very dirty. We killed a roach in this room. We refused to sleep under the blankets because eww, so we brought in our travel pillows and blankets and slept with that. The place is clearly under renovations so I will give a pass on that, but the rooms could use a good sanitizing.

I visited this hotel before the Days Inn buyout and remodel and it is so much better now! Hotel was still being remodeled when I stayed so the parking wasn’t ideal for people with larger vehicles and there was loud construction going on as soon as it was daylight. Staff was very nice, checkin was easy, room was clean. For the part of town it’s in as well as the price, this was a decent stay. Room had iron, nice open shower, microwave, mini fridge, and mew everything. No frills but really nice.

It was decently priced for the area! Right in the shopping center. All the staff were really accommodating for myself and my son! I was happy with our stay.
