"Not up to the expected Courtyard experience. On check in, I asked when the bar would be open (I arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday). I was looking forward to food and drink. The very nice desk agent explained that they just switched to Courtyard, and don't have their liquor license yet. But I can bring anything in. This is kind of weird, as there are reviews of this hotel going back to at least 2021. Walking to my room, I noticed an aroma. Not offensive, just an aroma of stale air. Getting to my room, I saw that this is an old property, and hadn't been fully updated. The furniture was the standard Courtyard furniture, and the bed was great. But: - They still have the locks where you have to insert the card. There is no mobile key option. - There was a tub in the bathroom. I haven't seen a tub in a Courtyard in 15 years. - The windows are not sound proof. I can clearly hear the highway. Literally every other CY I've stayed in has been very recently updated. This one needs some TLC. One of the main reasons I stay at Courtyard is because there is food and drink on site, and I don't have to go back out to get dinner. After a 10 hour drive, this is huge. This, and the condition of this property are making me rethink choosing Courtyard in the future."
