We stayed at this hotel overnight with friends. After arriving at 10pm on an 18 degree night, the room was 57 degrees when they walked in! They called the front desk who didn’t seem to care and told them Housekeeping leaves it that way and they will just have to wait, it will warm up soon. They called back after 20 minutes after the temperature wasn’t budging much and got a similar uncaring response. They pushed to change rooms and found the same thing in the new room. They waited for over 90 minutes for the room to warm up enough to shower. So much for arriving, relaxing and going to sleep! Had 1 of the 3 front desk people on duty shown even the slightest empathy with the situation, it might have made a difference, but they said it was hotel policy to keep the rooms that cold and there was nothing they can do. I get trying to save energy, but if you check in with your arrival time on the Hilton app hours in advance, can’t 1 of the 3 people at the desk do the right thing and turn the heat on? Clearly, a hotel to avoid!

I'm a government contract and booked my reservation 2 weeks in advance using the ”US GOVERNMENT ON DUTY TRAVEL” which I use all the time for my official travel. On 4 Aug 24 the morning of my arrival, the hotel guest services sent me an email at 9:40 am stating the government rate was only for active duty and refused to honor the rate. I did not see the email, because I was already on travel and besides it was past the date that I could cancel. I'm on a GSA contract that only reimburses at the maximum per diem rate. I'm a diamond member for 9 years and have over 800 nights in Hilton properties. The ”US GOVERNMENT ON DUTY TRAVEL” did not state that it was for active duty only. I use the government rate all the time for my official travels without any incidents. I'm disputing the charges with corporate. It was very unprofessional for the hotel to send an email on the morning of check in stating that they would not honor the rate.
I've stayed twice now over the past month and it keeps getting worse. The floors throughout the entire hotel are uneven to the point it feels like I'm a skiier going down a mogule course. The shower heads are just above face level such that I have to dip slightly so I can rinse my head off (i'm not that tall). The curved outward rods dipped so heavily that the shower curtains slid to the middle - water everywhere. My latest experience involved not one room but two on separate floors with ants in the bathroom. Not swarms - but a clear trail was visible. The desks are right next to the bed and extremely cramped when you sit at them. On a positive note, the staff is extremely friendly and rooms are overall clean (minus the ants).
I checked in around 11:30 p.m. hoping to get some sleep. Hotel had old beat up dingy look. Carpet worn. Room was beat up, old, and did not look like their nice website pictures. Lots of smudges on mirror/TV. There was lingering ********* smoke inside hotel and loud club music right below my window. At 3:00 a.m. approximately 6-8 police cruisers came to the club with loud sirens waking me up after sleeping only 2 hours. I left around 3:30 a.m. and drove home exhausted. I asked for a refund when checking out and was told to call back for a manager. When I did an individual identifying herself as the manager promised a refund within 3 business days. When the refund did not come I called back a few days later and was told that the person I spoke with previously was not a manager but a new employee, and there would be no refund. When I referenced the folio that the previous “manager-employee” sent me, the manager said that it had been sent from her personal email account. He did not apologize for that or anything else, was argumentative, and provided very poor customer service.
