Tolles Hotel in der Stadt. Hatten wir nicht zu dem Preis erwartet

We tried to have a shower but it wouldn’t drain away and flooded the en suite. When telling the receptionist we were told there were no other rooms and they could not offer us a secure shower facility only shared shower which you couldn’t lock which were for the dormitories on the whole floor.There was nobody of gravitas that was there to help just a clueless young lady who was way out of her depth. Basically it was a take it or leave it situation!

In March, we arrived to the hotel past 10 pm as our flight was delayed and checked in normally, and got handed a key card for the room. We go up to the room and as I open the door, I see 2 people in the bed. We go back down and I let the receptionist know that there are people staying in the room. She then explained that there were no rooms available in the hotel and that we would have to stay at a different property. She then walked us across the city to some apar**ents that they owned, and explained that they are only in use during the summer and that they are ‘better’. When we walked in, the whole room, bed, pillows and floor were covered in dust, it hadn’t been cleaned for months so you could clearly see that they were just rented out for the summer. The toilet paper had faeces on the side of it. There was black long hair everywhere. My partner and I then decided to walk back to the hotel and speak to the receptionist and show her the photos of the room and how disgusting it was. I asked for a full refund as there wasn’t a room available for us, and we were not about to walk back to the dirty apar**ent at midnight straight after a flight. She then handed me the phone to speak to the owner, who yelled at me calling me a liar, that the room was clean after seeing the pictures that the receptionist sent to her, and that she will not be giving me a refund. We ended up contacting *********** and they said that they cannot do anything about it as the hotel has to agree to a refund in order to get our money back. So we stayed at a different hotel and after almost 4 months of going back and forth with *********** and the hotel not replying to them, I got my money back through my bank.

Great location and hotel. Rooms small but exactly as advertised…funky, modern and just what was needed. Note: since covid they no longer have breakfast available, nor do they have laundry facilities available. There is a laundromat a few blocks away.

When we checked in everything seemed okay until we got to our room. The room was way smaller than what was shown in the pictures on ***********, for the type of room we booked. They definitely gave us a smaller room than what we paid for. Apart from that, 4 (!) lamps in our room were broken and hanging loose from the wall and ceiling, exposing the electrical wires. The bathroom had mold in it, the showerhead was broken and the cup provided in the bathroom wasn't clean at all. We went to the front desk the same evening. The owner told us she didn't know about this (we later found out they just didn't care). She told us she could call maintenance the day after. They didn't have any other rooms available. And we had to come back again the day after. She didn't seem to wanna help us/care at all. The next day we talked to this other member of staff who offered moving us to one of their other properties in the city. She asked us to come back again the next morning. The next morning we spoke to someone different again about us being moved to the different property. Suddenly there was a different room available in the same property. When we got to the room we came to the conclusion that this was the room type we actually paid for. We also found out that they put new people in our old room without fixing anything. Overall the service was very disappointing and we weren't the only ones with problems. We also overheard other guests complaining at the front desk. The hotel also didn't offer any breakfast service even though they do mention this on ***********. The rooftop bar also wasn't open and there wasn't any other food or drinks service provided apart from a communal hostel kitchen. The rooms don't have hotel basics like a mini fridge, a safe and a kettle for tea. You can definitely get a better room somewhere else for a better price.

Hôtel qui se rapproche plus d'une auberge de jeunesse . Personnel inexistant ou désagréable,nettoyage inexistant ,serviettes de toilettes pas changées du séjour ,climatisation très bruyante,et surtout un vacarme digne d'une colonie de vacances.200 euros la nuit c'est bien cher payé pour un établissement minable

Un choix de dernière minute, et je suis agréablement surprise !! Lieux propre, douche propre, salle commune ravissante et chambre spacieuse. Pas de problème en chambre mixte, ils ont pris soins de mettre les filles sur la mezzanine et les garçons sur les lits superposés en bas. Malheureusement ça reste une auberge de jeunesse et me soucis c’est que les gens ne savent pas vivre en communauté… donc des hommes ont parlé fort vers 3h du matin et a 7h à leurs réveil. Des hommes d’âge mûr mais qui ne connaissent pas encore les règles de politesse visiblement. Merci à l’équipe pour l’accueil quand même !!

This place has been my most favorite place to stay! Everything rates a 10 .I wish there was one in every city. I would only stay there. It is fabulous, people wonderful and nice sheets😀

Super clean. Massive bathroom and big bedroom in the junior suite. Beds were super comfy. Top-roof terrace with bar.Close to old town with breakfast places, shops and restaurants in walking distance. Best restaurant in town "Alameda" in the same building.
