We have just spent a week at the Siam Elegance and were so happy we are already planning our return. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly and cannot do enough for you. Our room needed a bit of a refresh but was clean and served its purpose. The hotel sparkles from being so clean with staff constantly on top of anything that is needed. The food was fresh and delicious. You knew what to expect each sitting but it was good nonetheless. As we went out of season it lacked the evening entertainment but the team still did the occasional quiz or film. I think our only real 'complaint' would be the lack of English TV channels. We had 4, all of which were news. We'd have liked the option to watch a film especially as there wasn't the entertainment in the evening. We also loved the resident cats! So lovely being free to wander
I want to elaborate or correct some of the reviews for this place, but I don't think there's any point really. The turkish people in general are OK, but there's this underlying arrogance. I wouldn't say rude, just a condescending attitude which is apparent throughout the region, even in Greece for instance. An arrogance the stems from the ottoman era. They seem to think the ottoman empire is still a thing and they rule a large part of the world. This gives them the right to be arrogant and even defensive if you point it out. So I don't think any changes will come from this review. First up, please please go all inclusive, they keep asking to look at your wristband, and will treat you like royalty if you are all inclusive, but should you not be all inclusive, they will treat you like dirt at the bars, even though you are willing to pay for whatever you require. For instance , order a cup of tea. They will say no you can't have it. Rather than be a bit more elaborate and explain that you aren't entitled to a free drink however it's €3 euros if you wish to purchase one. On the evening of our arrival We asked for coffee sachets for the room as housekeeping had only left creamer and sugar prior to our arrival. We were told, there's a shop across the road, where we can get some. When I asked why they couldn't give us any, they said housekeeping closes at 4pm ” well next time, lead with that” said the voice in my head. Or offer an alternative like coffee is available at the bar, sir. So I don't know if it's cultural or a lack of training or just individual pigheadedness. I'll go with training... the hotel needs to encourage the customer facing staff to be a bit more courteous to its guests. No matter what level they are staying at. Offer alternatives or make suggestions, when someone has a requirement that doesn't fit their circumstances. Not just a flat NO. That being said. The hotel facilities are fabulous. I had a swim, but avoided the welness centre as they did come off as clingy . The shops beside the restaurant are brilliant. My wife loved the 3 knock off LV purses she got for €5. Yes 3 purses for €5. Also there's a great supermarket across the road. And a small shop beside the hotel you'll need these if you're half board etc. As the shop in the basement is a little overpriced for what you're buying. And won't have access to the mini bar in your room. The fridge in your room is kept empty. All inclusive get a complimentary mini bar. Everything else is free or inclusive. Except the games arcade, which everyone has to purchase tokens to play. Al in all we had a good time, we kept our interaction with the staff to a minimum. Except the ladies working during breakfast. They were phenomenal, especially Havin. All in all it wasn't great. But it was good. Ps the food is great, there's loads to choose from, so even if it is the same everyday as someone suggested in another review. You're not going to try every dish in one
My vacation at The Dobedan Exclusive Hotel Belek was truly awesome! I enjoyed every single aspect of my stay here. The service was top-notch, and the facilities were excellent. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful, the pool was fantastic, and the hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and perfectly met my needs. What made my stay truly special, however, was the exceptional staff, and in particular, one member, SEDA!!!! Seda is the most beautiful person. She is incredibly kind, helpful, and cute. She is friendly and approachable with a genuinely warm and lovely smile. Her exceptional kindness and attentiveness made my stay even more pleasant and memorable. She helped to make my vacation more enjoyable and truly beautiful. I felt like a very valued guest because of her, and her efforts did not go unnoticed! SHOUTOUT TO SEDA!!! LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU ❤️❤️❤️ I hope, in the future i will get one more chance to meet her!!!
I have just came back from Orange County in Belek staying there for one week and here are my thoughts about the hotel: Good things: - Nice looking hotel, clean and well maintained in my opinion. - My room was not outdated. Very nice in deed. - Well designed in terms of space, did not feel overcrowded but it can be very different during holiday peak time. - Good swimming pool area, although the water was a bit cold. - Nice private beach, but the pier slightly disturbs the sea experience - Very nice SPA - 5 min walk away from Turkish bazaar which, although pricey, is well supplied. Bad things: - English is not spoken in the hotel. Even basic level conversations end up very quickly with clear confusion on staff member face. The reception is slightly better but don't try to go outside of standard check-in or check-out lines. More about that latter. - reception is very... very unprofessional. No ”Hi” on arrival nor ”Thank you” on departure. No smile or welcoming behavior at all. I asked for wake-up call on my departure day and if you think they actually called me, I suggest to think again. - room cleaning service does a good job. However, once accidentally I left some money on the table, which was stolen. It was only 2 euros in coins so did not bother to report this incident but it left strange feeling about the hotel staff. - very bad food in the main restaurant. Mostly cold or slightly warm at best - almost never hot as it should be. Very repetitive with barely noticeable variations. No exotic fruits. You need to ask staff for fizzy drinks, which I found very annoying. - The restaurant is one big area with tables placed very close to each other. It is quite difficult to enjoy a meal there. You can only eat the food quickly and find a place somewhere else. - repeatable evening entertainment. How many times can you actually enjoy dancing/acrobatic show or DJ music? The hotel hires live singers as well - with questionable singing skills. I cannot sing either but at least I do not keep trying. Also, the entertainment area is close to the rooms and it is very noisy during showtimes. So you can forget about having a sleep before midnight or so. - and lastly ... but the most importantly, the Orange County hotel in Belek is invaded by Russians and I mean guests, as well as staff. At least half of the hotel staff comes either from Russia or ex-Russian states (think Kazahstan and you know what I mean). Unfortunately they only speak their language. So if you don't speak Russian, you will feel isolated. To be completely fair, I heard other languages perhaps 3 times and I felt really privileged. Another thing is that having so many guests from same country encourages certain individuals to feel more important than any other guests. During my stay, I witnessed 5 unsocial situations, typically involving lot's of alcohol, big ego or lack of understanding, that the hotel is a shared establishment. This is not what I call a relaxing holiday experience. But t
I traveled on my own with my 2 daughters. We had an amazing week in this resort. Something to do all day along. Staff are working very hard and never drops smile from their face. Great food selection. Waterslides are great fun. Evening entertainment every night. Definetly value for money. All staff made us feel very safe and no request was too much. My youngest daughter has lost her iphone and within and hour reception had contacted us to let us know it was found. The only thing i did not like was an attitude of some other people staying in the resort. Seems like they think once they have paid “all inclusive” they expect everything “ there and then”! Staff in this hotel could not work any harder! Everyone was amazing and sometimes saying “ thank you” goes a long way!
I have a lot to say about this hotel. To start with my family and i arrived at this hotel at 5am and were only given a room at 2pm. We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep however the manager did not care and even ignored us constantly. So if you expect to get the managers attention i’d advice you go to another hotel. The only staff at the reception who was kind and friendly through out our whole stay was Ozde. Even after waiting for so long we had to pay for an upgrade because the rooms were quite small and we were a family of 5. On the other hand the scenery was absolutely beautiful and there were constantly activities to do, from pool activities to water slides your children will always be occupied. The entertainment was also great thanks to Ozzy such an amazing staff with such great character. The first family room they gave us had mold in the shower and was not cleaned propely we had to wait 2 days for a room changed. When we did have our room change there was a lizard in our bathroom so i would advice you to have your balcony closed if you don’t want any visitors. The beds were also very uncomfortable and felt like i was sleeping on wood. The food was okay i could tell that they re-heated some of the food as it did not taste fresh.
