Sensitive hotel This hotel describes itself as a “premium Resort” and an “Ultra All inclusive” both statements are totally u true. Let’s address, premium resort. A resort hotel is a large, luxury facility that offers holiday makers a comprehensive holiday experience with accommodation, food, entertainment, and activities. This “resort” does not offer luxury of anything. Let’s talk accommodation * The bedding is covered in rips and stains, and is too small for tue beds! * Taps in our bathroom were loose and if we were a little heavy handed, they would definitely strap off. * The grouting and the shelves in the bathroom are filthy, both in the shower and around the sink. * There was a lot of storage space in the room, including a large wardrobe, but not a single hanger in site. * In a luxury resort, you’d at least expect an ironing board and an iron, not here unfortunately. When asked if they could send one to the room, I was told there is no irons on site, but they can take items away for 5-10 euros per item! * Our hotel room was advertised as having a mini bar. There is a fridge that has 1 large bottle of water and 2 fizzy waters put in it daily. When I asked for some sprites or cokes, I was told no. They are 2 euro extra, each. No snacks nor alcohol. * We spent 10 days here and on 8, our beds still had not been changed. Just straitened out, Despite asking the maid several times. The room was not cleaned either, not even brushed. We spent 8 days walking on sand from the beach and lotion residue from our sun lotions. On day 8, I spoke to reception and requested our room was throughly cleaned. It was not. Luxury? I think not. * Towels in the bathroom were old tatty things, with holes in and frayed edging. * The bedding had holes in and was even stained. * The bedding didn’t even fit the bed. The quilt was a single on a double, and a mini on the single. * When we arrived, there was hair in the shower from previous guests, and not just a little. * All the glass windows and mirrors were marked with handprints and dirty cloth marks. Now for the staff- the lovely staff! * All the staff are rude and unhelpful. They al wear random uniforms, so it’s impossible to tell who is there to do what. * There’s not an area throughout this hotel, where the staff aren’t on their phones. I was at the bar at one point, in the middle of making my order when the staff members phone went off. He answered the phone mid order and just walked away! He never came back. * When you ask the staff something and they don’t want to answer, they just shrug their shoulder and say, “no understand” * There’s a scruffy female in the restaurant who stands near the doors leading to the outside dining area. She just stands there on her phone, snarling at people, she maybe barks orders at staff now and then. On several occasions she was walking around in a coat shouting at staff. * I tried to speak to her once, regarding the food. Her response “no understand” And
We have just arrived home from our Christmas Holiday from limak Atlantis. We had a wonderful time at the hotel from start to finish. We found all the staff very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very busy like most good hotels we have stayed at this time of year and in my opinion this was the best for friendliness and curtesy. Like all busy hotels one has to queue for everything but if you avoid the peak times then you can enjoy your meals. The food was hot , fresh and not repetitive. The restaurant staff were hard workers, very efficient served you all the beverages you needed during all your meals and cleaned as they went. We had thunderstorms for five days so we used the indoor pool and spa area. We visited the local town Belek, the local market at Selik and Land of Legends. The only disadvantage I found was that the hotel is remote from shopping & sightseeing you have to hire a car, taxi to go anywhere . Taxi fares €10 Belek, €25 Serik Market, €20 land of Legends, €50/€60 Antalya Old Town all one way so it adds up. You can bargain a little. I would like to thank Jacko, Ali and all the animation team for keeping us entertained. The Restaurant staff for the big smiles and service and Ege in guest relations for his assistance.and knowledge and advice. Hopefully see you all again soon.
This hotel might carry the Rixos name, but it’s far from what you’d expect from the brand. We’ve stayed in other Rixos properties and trusted their reputation, but this was a complete letdown. Here’s how it went: 1. Check-In: We arrived as a family of five (two kids) with two rooms booked. Initially, we were told the rooms weren’t ready yet, which we were okay with—it happens. But even at 2 PM, the official check-in time, there were no rooms ready. By 3 PM, with two overtired kids practically falling asleep in the lobby, we were told to wait even longer. I had to insist (loudly!) before a manager finally got us one room at 3:30 PM so the kids could rest. The second room? It was handed over at 4:30 PM—two and a half hours late. The worst part? The reception staff didn’t seem to care. They ignored us, avoided eye contact, and acted like we were the problem for asking when our rooms would be ready. 2. Rooms: The rooms themselves? Tired. Clean, yes—but a long way from the usual Rixos standard. Our rooms were at the very end of the building, which meant a 7-minute walk (in an unheated corridor - whyyyyy) to the restaurant. This might not sound like a big deal, but when it’s winter, freezing cold, and you’ve got kids in tow, it’s miserable. Unsurprisingly, the kids ended up sick. 3. Pools & Spa: Let’s talk about the “heated” outdoor pool. Heated? Barely. The water was 27°C, which might sound okay, but in winter, it’s not enough to feel comfortable. The indoor pool was warmer but inconveniently located across the street from the main building. When it’s raining nonstop (as it was during our stay), you have to run through the downpour to get there, slipping on the dangerously smooth tiles along the way. I saw two people slipped and hurt themselves. I trust there are many more… Inside, the spa wasn’t much better. The hammam wasn’t warm enough to be enjoyable, and the constant towel policing was ridiculous. You’re required to keep track of towel cards, or else. Honestly, it felt more like a budget gym than a 5-star hotel. 4. Food: The food was decent but got boring quickly. The options were limited, and by the third day, we were over it. That said, the Uzbek corner was a nice touch, and the waitstaff were lovely —they were the saving grace of our dining experience (love them all!). What wasn’t so nice? The dining area was freezing cold (are heating systems not a thing here?) and filled with smoke from the kitchen. We spent every meal smelling like we’d just worked the grill ourselves. 5. Entertainment: The kids’ club? Amazing. The staff were great, the activities were fun, and the evening kids’ shows were actually impressive. One night, there was an acrobat who put on a genuinely professional performance. Honestly, the kids’ entertainment was better than the adults’. Speaking of adult entertainment… well, there wasn’t much. A guitarist or band would play for an hour or so in the evening, but the quality was average at best. Worse, the stage w
Firstly we'd like to thank our two WhatsApp assistants they really helped to make our stay go without any major hiccups ! On arrival I felt there wasn't enough coat hangers in the dressing room (1506) quickly sorted out ! We'd get a message every morning with a list of activities and if we wanted to book up anything this was easily done ! We stayed 23rd - 30th December. Christmas Eve felt very special with beautiful singers in background and staff going around with nibbles and champagne later in the evening we visited steak a la carte restaurant couldn't fault the food or the service . Chinese a la carte was good ( we visited twice ) ROOM: we stayed Deluxe room which had jacuzzi bath on terrace still used when not raining ! Good location within main building and easy access to everything? Little extras were nice we used room service for breakfast in bed twice , amazing assortment on trolley ; omelette , breads , cold meats , cheese , jams , honey , fruit salad , tea , coffee , fruit juice .. no extra charge part of A.I plus! Deluxe Room well worth paying extra for . FOOD AND DRINKS : we enjoyed everything but I don't like cold food and unfortunately there was on occasions the food in main restaurant was cold ! but there's plenty of other places to eat so wasn't a big deal ! I experienced two undrinkable cocktail's Espresso Martini and Cosmopolitan but again I just didn't try them again . I enjoyed the Pornstar Martini and Liquor Coffee's were great . HOTEL EXPERIENCE : Overall we really enjoyed our stay and found all of the staff very professional and attentive ! NEGATIVES : this is probably due to the weather being bad !! Indoor pool , steam rooms and other facilities too busy . I didn't ask but I did wonder if there was an ADULT ONLY time slot available for a more relaxed environment !! SPORTS BAR : I found it odd that children were allowed in this part of hotel ! On one of our visits there was a very large group of adults whilst they were obviously having a great time the children were dosing across numerous sofas it wasn't great ! RETURN VISIT : We would look at returning again the positives out way the Negatives .
This is the third visit to this hotel and we have always been satisfied with the service and quality of this hotel. But now during the New Year holidays we were disappointed with a significant deterioration in service. The hotel is 90% full, but the service cannot cope with so many guests. Namely: 1. The service at the heated pool is very long, you can wait for the order up to 30 minutes, this has never happened before. 2. In the area in the lobby on the -2 floor, armchairs and sofas are dirty and can be wet and sit in expensive clothes in such an armchair will be a fiasco. 3. The floor in places where guests sit is dirty and there is no desire to be in this place. 4. In the rooms they removed disposable high-quality perfumes and shampoos put large bottles that are top up like in an economy format. 5. In general, the rooms are already in need of repair and traces of significant scuffs are already visible. In general, there are also advantages in this hotel, but if it costs that kind of money, you have to meet it. I hope the hotel managers will read my review and work on it.
