We booked a junior suite and the day before we arrived the hotel called to ask if we could help them out and change to double interconnected rooms instead. I specifically asked if there was a big difference ik the rooms and they said no. With that information I agreed as we were staying for only 1 night. Big was my surprise at arrival when de noticed that the normal rooms didn’t have airconditioning and that with a heat wave going on in Europe. The room was like a sauna and the only thing we got was a little fan full of dust. When I complained at the reception they told me they ‘forgot’ to mention this. If I would have known this I would have never agreed to a room change. They offered a 20% discount which is a real disgrace as my family didn’t sleep all night!!! We had breakfast at 7 am in the morning but the breakfast buffet wasn’t ready at all. They still needed to start with preparing the hot buffet. At 7.10 they still needed to prepare the sausages so as we didn’t had much time we couldn’t enjoy breakfast fully. I still hope management will reach out personally to discuss the ‘20% compensation’, otherwise it will be my laste visit to a Dorint property ever.
