An ok hotel very near the train station. They were very short staffed just 2 staff running reception and the restaurant, also very strangely the staff told us not to have their baby cot as poor quality. Appreciate the honesty but would recommend this is sorted

Location is good and convenient. Suitable for a short stay.

Rooms are spacious but have worn out old dirty carpets. Breakfast needs to improve. They don’t provide eggs as they claim ‘ how you want your eggs’. No omelette options. And for vegetarians , the e and ham taste really bad. For travelers with toddlers, there is no additional facility to store milk and staff doesn’t seem to be very friendly when you want to ask for some favour such as put the baby bottle in a dish washer etc. or warm the baby milk. Rest toilets were clean which was the best part.

Have stayed here a few times and have to say this hotel is perfectly located. Right outside the train station. Staff are excellent - the restaurant was busy, but they still managed to squeeze me in and the food cans quickly. Will stay here again - great staff (both reception and restaurant).

I booked the premier inn several months ago and paid around £60 on the non flexible rate. I wanted to book a second room for my daughter On checking a few weeks ago it had gone up to nearly £90 and on the day it went up to £102at those prices I didn’t book a second room Thick Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling above the bed. In the bathroom there was paint on walls bubbling and the skirting board paint was flaking off. The silicon around the shower tray was black. Toilet paper is individual sheets and pointless For a room that costs £102 I would expect a lot better. When I think I booked a last minute hotel room at a golf hotel two weeks ago that cost £61 for that I got bath robes, slippers, toiletries and a fresh bathroom with proper toilet paper. I wouldn’t expect robes etc from a premier inn but the prices have shot up and this one didn’t live up to my normal expectations of a premier inn. I was originally thinking of returning in January but instead I’m you going to go to Cornwall where I can stay in a two bedroom luxury apartment for £205 for two nights with parking.

We stayed at Exeter St David’s to break up a long journey to Cornwall - mostly for the benefit of our 15 week old baby. All our expectations were exceeded and we are so grateful to the lovely staff for helping making our trip fuss-free. We are due to return at the weekend on the way home and we’re really looking forward to it!
