克里斯多夫飯店(The Christopher Hotel, Eton)

Il Christopher Hotel si trova a Eton e quindi per raggiungerlo bisogna attraversare il fiume. Ha l'a**osfera tipica dell'Inghilterra tradizionale che piace a me, le stanze però sono dotate di ogni conforto, letto grande e grande bagno con doccia. Il personale è gentilissimo e ti fa sentire a casa. Il castello di Windsor e il centro città sono a pochi minuti a piedi. Un soggiorno da 10!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it a perfect location! We had walked passed this place a few years ago and was fairly busy! Shame that bar no longer seems open to public and Grill / restaurant closed. Think this would have given the place a bit of a buzz again! This did not affect our view of our stay here and the room we had was great - shame we could not open a window but otherwise was lovely. Decor of room was fine and we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area! Staff were very friendly and helpful- breakfast was adequate- would be nice to have had a bit of fresh fruit but other than that was a good breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Christopher for the Royal Windsor Horse Show. Everything from reception to housekeeping was top notch. Both Wendy and Sam are a credit to the hotel. When our room was too hot, Sam got it taken care of immediately. Wendy was very good with remembering our names and making us feel at home. This is an old coaching hotel originally built in the 1600s, so no elevators and the stairs are very steep. They have rooms on the ground floor, so ask for those if you have mobility issues, like I do! The breakfast will fill you up well past lunch and the welcome drinks are a nice touch. Windsor Castle is a short walk across the Thames. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Really enjoyed our stay at The Christopher. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Warm welcome on arrival and all staff friendly and attentive. Good choice of food at breakfast and good quality ingredients. Ideally placed for Eton high street and a short walk to Windsor castle and high street.

Excellent room, very comfortable. Welcoming at Reception. Bar/lounge great for a drink before eating out. Enjoyed breakfasts as the full range was on offer. Position of the hotel is convenient and means only a short walk over the river to the Castle...and Changing of the Guard at 11 o'clock!

Another excellent stay at The Christopher! Clean and very friendly staff, the location was brilliant for a visit to Windsor with parking too - book in advance with Hotel £15 per night. Excellent breakfast and free drink voucher. Room had everything we needed - we stayed in room 42 chalet which was bigger than previous stay. Decent fan in the room which was welcomed as we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather. We had couple of meals - Italian across the road Don Beni and Greek Latinos in Windsor- really enjoyed both. There are 3 local bars all with outdoor garden areas. Loved our stay

Our second visit to Windsor and our second stay at this hotel Never fails to impress We were given room 16 as our party have mobility issues and this was ideal Big Room with all you need and a comfy bed The staff are very helpful, the two ladies on reception were exceptional the breakfast was excellent with good choices on offer, the pastries were fantastic Great location just past Eton College and about half a mile from the Castle Will stay again next time we are in Windsor and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel thanks for making us feel so welcome

Excellent service, we were able to swap rooms without any fuss which was appreciated. Cooked breakfast was good with plenty of selection fruit, juices etc, all staff very friendly. Nice bar area to relax at the end of the day. The hotel is well located to access the castle or town for evening meal/drinks with a nice walk across the bridge. Enjoyed our stay, thank you !

We impulse booked at the last minute for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very well located on Eton High Street just 10 minutes walk from Windsor Castle, so you're close to the Windsor attractions but not in the midst of them! I called ahead to check that the on-site parking was available (it was, £15, as advertised), and when speaking to Sam I mentioned that it was our anniversary. On arrival we found that we had been upgraded and had a complimentary drink on arrival - we also had a card and a lovely box of chocolates in our room. Our room had a super-comfy massive bed and the double walk-in shower was excellently powerful! White Company toiletries are also a nice touch. As was the fact that breakfast is included in your room-rate. All of the staff we met were very friendly and all-in-all we had a lovely stay. We would very happily return to the Christopher next time we visit Eton and Windsor.
