元素海灘和大自然度假村(Elements Beach & Nature Resort)

C’est le paradis sur terre. Outre la beauté naturelle du site, l’ambiance créée par l’équipe est fabuleuse. On sent chez elle une volonté forte de vous procurer du bonheur et c’est réussi. C’est l’endroit le plus doux qu’il m’ait été donné de connaître.

Schönes Hotel mit tollen Cabanas, direkt am Meer. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Gutes Frühstück und Buffetnachtessen mit einer guten Auswahl. Direkt am windigen Meer, wo man lange Spaziergänge unternehmen kann. Kite Möglichkeit um es mal auszutesten. Guter Lehrer. Schön eingerichtete Cabanas mit toller Aussendusches/WC. Leider hat die Bar sehr früh geschlossen, somit muss man das Trinken mitnehmen, wenn man am späteren Abend noch ein Bier trinken möchte auf dem Balkon. Schöne Anlage, welche nicht überfüllt ist mit Häusern. Alles ist entspannt und man kann sich selber gut entspannen.

De villa met zeezicht staat vergenoeg van andere villa's zodat je genoeg privacy hebt. Er is geen airco, alleen 'natuurlijke' airco door de luchtgaten en openingen in dak. Het bleef alsnog wel warm in de kamer. We hadden 3 keer een kakkerlak in de kamer, maar dat hoort daar 'bij de natuur'. Buiten heb je een royale zitplaats waar je lekker kan relaxen. Er zijn wel heel erg veel vliegen, die hier zijn door de kippenboerderij en andere boerderijen in de buurt. (Dat is wat Samith de manager ons vertelde) Veel vliegen zijn er dus het hele jaar. Om 5.00 uur in de ochtend hoor je de moskee van de buurtgemeenschap. Wij waren er met de kerst en op kerstavond was er een BBQ. Rest van de dagen vonden wij het eten oke, maar niet heel bijzonder. Dat is ieders eigen smaak uiteraard. De locatie ligt vrij afgelegen en voor het regelen van eigen vervoer komt er geen Uber of Pickme. De manager kan iets voor je regelen, maar daar staat een vrij hoge prijs tegenover omdat ze een local vragen (prima, ook eigen keus) Wij vonden de prijs die we per nacht betaalde best pittig, komt ook nog 10% tax bij (ook bij restaurantrekening, maar dat staat erbij vermeld). De echte eigenaars van dit resort zijn erg vriendelijk en correct. Daar kregen wij een beter gevoel bij als bij de manager. Het personeel in het restaurant is super! Heel vriendelijk en gezellig en ook recht uit hun hart heel betrokken.

Ensemble de cabanes et (2) villas en bordure de plage. Ici paissent paisiblement vaches, chevaux et ânes. Lieu prisé pour le kite surf, avec vent et courant. L’établissement est doté d’une petite piscine sympathique et d’un restaurant couvert où l’on mange les pieds dans le sable. Le soir, dîner sous forme de buffet. La salle de bain est en extérieur - c’est dépaysant - et les logements sont ouverts au vent : ici pas de clim (ni de couverture), un ventilateur et une moustiquaire éloignent les désagréments.

It's not for everyone. It's perfect for me. Truly authentic and a perfectly wonderful rustic living resort with just the right amount of needed touches to add a spark. We loved it so much we are coming back for a month this summer. That should be a true testament. And I am not easy. I could actually imagine living at Elements for a year or more and never be tired of it. Expect a feeling of wildness. Expect to never wear shoes. Go kiteboarding every day and lay on a hammock at the end. Walk alone the beach and visit with local fisherman. Marvel at the surroundings and how pristine and beautiful it is. Eat well. Dream well. And wonder why you ever paid a fortune to stay at resort factories elsewhere in the world. This is NOT the place if you are expecting Dj clad resorts or Aman style pampering (or prices). This IS the place if you want to truly detach and let go. Manage your expectations as to what you are after and you will find a true gem. For kiteboarders, it is one of the best spots I have ever been to. As well, the area is brimming with other spots to explore reasonably by boat (direct from Elements) or by Tuk Tuk. But you will enjoy just right outside the door both a lagoon and the ocean with fantastic conditions. My only suggestion for Kiteboarders is to perhaps bring some of your own gear. The rental kites, boards etc here are adequate but could use a bit of TLC. Do not expect new and cutting edge kites and boards. Lastly, I confess to being reluctant to even post this review. I really don't want anyone else to discover it. But I also can't help but make sure that people understand the specialness of this location and lodge.

An absolute gem of a place. Beautiful nature, comfortable cabanas, yummy food and wonderful smiling staff. We stayed for a week and loved every moment of it. You don't have to be into kite surfing to enjoy yourself. The combination of the endless quiet beach and the lagoon and wildlife is just magic. Highly recommended 👌

What really stood out was the most attentive staff and the near to nature yet well thought out rooms. A welcoming atmosphere, that made staying there for our kite and wing-foil holiday feel like a real holiday. Right on the beach and next to a small lagoon. Even when there was no wind, there were enough activities such as SUPing the backwater creak and lounging in the pool.

We had a really nice two night stay in Elements during the October half term. We had the resort to ourselves as it was low season for kite surfing. We were very impressed with our beach villa - a beautiful, spacious hut with a stunning outdoor bathroom. We also loved the resident animals - all the dogs, donkeys, horses and ox. The staff were the best bit and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. My husband was unwell due to sunstroke and they gave him an aryuvedic tea to settle his stomach. One thing to be aware of at this time of year - the flies were a big problem due to low wind. They were everywhere and really spoiled our dining experience sadly. Even though dolphins are common in this area we were the unlucky 2% that didn’t see dolphins or whales on the morning trip. We were absolutely gutted and planned to do the trip on our second morning but we couldn’t go out due to bad weather. Elements gave us a 25% discount and were surprised we were so unlucky - this is the downside of travelling in low season - there were very few boats out so little information about where to find the beautiful creatures.

So happy I found Elements beach and nature resort. As non-kiter (with a kiter husband), I was worried we were going to get bored, but once my kids made friends and disappeared for hours, it was relaxation at full swing! What a rugged little paradise full of friendly animals, delicious food and the nicest staff.
