科林那達拉帕度假村(Colina da Lapa & Villas)

This resort is located in a calm and tranquil part of the Algarve. While secluded in its location, it is a very short distance to major towns and easy to access beaches. Accommodation is well presented, with minor wear and tear noticeable when you look closely. The villa I stayed in was clean, maintained reasonably, and provided a very calming environment. Staff are exceptional, with the service focus mindset evident from your first interaction. All staff we interacted with communicated in Portuguese and English. I would advise you book early for peak season. We were fortunate that we were on shoulder season but you could see that this is a very sought after resort.

Loved the place people really nice, had building work going on and most stuff not open, restaurant limited choice. Free shuttle to beach which was great, apartments lovely definitely would go again and was such a good price. As it was half term there wasn't many kids so still very relaxing just wasn't any entertainment for the kids.

Big site, mostly well run with very nice swimming pools, flora and play areas. Staying in an apartment, very spacious with beds excellent, good TV, fridge /freezer. Ridiculous situation in kitchen with only 1 available plug socket(had to buy a multiply adaptor to be able to use kettle/toaster /microwave. Problem on site on nights and days of March 20th & 21st - group of young lads sharing a villa no:417 playing very loud music and making much noise. Fortunately they disappeared March 22nd. I know other groups were irritated by villa no:417 antics. Management need to assess what clientele they're aiming for. Most guests were elderly of young families - who do not want to share noise and disturbance of young party types. Another noisy group partying (until 4am) on night of may 3rd.

I would recommend the Colina da Lapa Resort and Villas, Sesmarias, Carvoeiro/Ferragudo, Algarve, Portugal. We stayed here in April 2024 on an easyJet Holidays break to the Algarve for a few days. The Colina da Lapa Resort and Villas complex is beautiful, beautiful grounds and beautiful buildings, very clean. The staff are extremely helpful in reception, they are always happy to help you with anything, organising anything for you etc. I cannot fault the apartment we had, the apartment for a 1 bedroom place was huge, a little dated but generally spotlessly clean, immaculate. It had a kitchen, 2 balconies, large bathroom, large living room with fireplace (would be great in winter), great views over Ferragudo and Portimao, plus lovely views of the lovely complex. Perfect if you were staying for a week. The swimming pools were fantastic as were the sunbeds. The accommodation is very quiet which is very nice and not overcrowded etc. It is a shame it is a way out of town of Carvoeiro and a little isolated being in Sesmarias, and away from the big supermarkets near Lagoa unless you have a car in which case it’s perfect. However I would highly recommend also if you wanted somewhere close to eat and reasonable prices, then the Luisa Restaurant is definitely a great place to eat. Also there is a small Sesmarias Supermarket which is reasonable. Generally though it is a lovely clean resort and quiet, beautiful buildings grounds, great staff. Great stay. Would recommend the Colina da Lapa resort and villas. I would also reccommend hiring a car or motorcycle (which can be done and ordered through the resort).

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf op deze prachtige locatie. Zowel de binnen- als buitenkant van de accommodatie waren goed verzorgd en perfect onderhouden. Het was duidelijk dat veel aandacht werd besteed aan het behoud van de kwaliteit van de omgeving. Wat betreft het eten, het was simpelweg verrukkelijk. Elk gerecht was met zorg bereid en smaakte voortreffelijk. Het culinaire aspect van ons verblijf heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen en heeft zeker bijgedragen aan de algehele ervaring. Bovendien waren de beheerders van de accommodatie buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hun gastvrijheid maakte ons verblijf des te aangenamer. Ze stonden altijd klaar om te helpen en zorgden ervoor dat we ons welkom en op ons gemak voelden. Kortom, het was een fantastische vakantie waarin we echt tot rust konden komen en konden genieten van al het moois dat deze locatie te bieden had. We zouden deze accommodatie zeker aanraden aan anderen die op zoek zijn naar een ontspannen en plezierig verblijf.

Veníamos de otro hotel donde por desgracia y debido a las lluvias pasamos una noche mala. Tras poner estos percances en manos del director del hotel nos cambió a este apartamento de la misma cadena pero superior sin coste para nosotros. La villa con piscina privada todo un lujo. El apartamento súper espacioso y con todo lo necesario. Chimenea, dos TV en salón comedor. 3 baños completos y un aseo. Cocina súper equipada con todo lo necesario. Cambio de toallas. Toallas para la piscina privada y está con 10 hamacas. Zona de barbacoa. Sin duda nuestra primera noche fue recompensada y las vacaciones han sido un lujo.

We where 20 friends who had 3 villas. What a beautiful area and peaceful nice, clean and up to date. The villas are wonderful the highlight is the pool area that is amazing. We all enjoyed this place so much that we will go back. After reading some negative comments about Colina we all 20 still dont understand if we have been to the same place. The restaurant and the main pool area and the bar and staff are just wonderful friendly and nice. The staff that look after our villas was just wonderful and friendly . We had 10 days here and we sure want to go back again for longer stays. We all travelled to explore the coast of Algarve and we just loved it. Ferragudo the little town with nice restaurants and bars where good. We had a fantastic time in Colina and we have actually nothing negative to say. The reception staff was great and helpful . We stayed there for 4 nights mid September and I have to say it was really great experience. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Kitchen well equipped. Surrounding areas were nice with a very clean pool. Place was really quiet in September which made our stay very relaxing. Reception staff always helpful. It is a great location but you need a car to be able to get to the beach or town. I highly recommend it.

We have just returned from a week stay at the colina de lapas villas in Portugal. All I can say is I would return right now. First impressions were it was a ghost town. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no-one around at all. Receptionist was welcoming and gave us key and map. We were staying in a 1 bed apartment (me, my husband and our 12 year old)..the apartment was huge. We were downstairs which was fine. We would open the patio doors and lay a blanket on the grass to catch the sun. Beds were comfy enough, kitchen was well equipped...there was a lot of brown but this did not offend... cleaner came daily and was great. Nearest shop is a shortish walk down the main road. Highly recommend a hire car to get around as this location is pretty far from the beach. The areas around are beautiful and need exploring... check out the caves ;) Go to reception they will get you a great deal on a car. Our apartment was right by the tennis courts and we played tennis daily... we have no skills in this department 🙄 Finally other than the beautiful grounds I cannot express how wonderful the restaurant staff were. They were attentive, they laughed with us and catered to our every need. We received 10% discount every night and the steak was divine. We ordered pizza one night as the daughter was poorly, delivered to our room... fantastic food. Fantastic quality. We missed breakfast on our last day so they kindly prepared a packed lunch for us to take with us that morning. This did not compare to the best scrambled eggs and bacon I've ever had but it was a really kind gesture. My daughter loved the spaghetti bolognese. Pool was very cold but clean and the grounds are beautiful. Not a busy place and not full of people but we have enjoyed a superbly relaxing week of great food, great banter and a lot of tennis balls flying everywhere. Only negative was the people above us seemed to be moving furniture all night and yikes was it loud. Not the thickest of walls. Would return in a heartbeat.
