Estepona Holiday Hills

Estuvimos tres parejas en un apartamento de tres dormitorios. Muy grande, moderno, bonita decoración y con unas maravillosas vistas. Limpieza impecable. El complejo tiene de todo; las piscinas son preciosas. El personal de recepción muy atentas y cercanas. Nos lo dieron antes de la hora de entrada y nos dejaron quedarnos hasta las tres. Muchas gracias a Isa y a sus compañeras por su amabilidad. Pasamos un fin de semana PERFECTO. Volveremos.

Second time at the Estepona Holiday Hills. Both times we took top floor apartments with views over the sea. They are beautiful, well designed, all white clean lines and super clean. Town is close use Uber and they come to your apt within 5 mins. The pool bar staff are great and a big asset to the resort. My only criticism this year is that the management have made a really strange call. They have wrapped a fence around the pool, not opening it until 11am. The chat is that it is due to Spanish laws. Absolute nonsense. Kind of spoils it for me. Used to have some super cool little seats, still in their website bio by the way. Would I come back next year…Yes…But if the management team listen then they need to sort it out.

Family of 4, 2 adults 2 teenage girls stayed for 2 weeks in apt 2D apartment was fantastic with everything we needed and very modern with a huge balcony coffee machine and washing machine. Beds were extremely comfortable and the quality of the bed linen and towels was excellent. The pool was 1 minute walk to the right and the cafe and reception/office was 1 min walk to the left. All staff on site were amazing. There is 24 hour security at the gate. There’s also a sports centre/gym there with a bar. We didn’t rent a car it was about 15 min walk down hill to the centre and we used Uber on the way back up. The walk down can be a bit dangerous as part of the walk has no footpaths. The centre has a lovely beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. There’s a market every Sunday down by the Marina and another market on a Wednesday a short walk from the Marina. We had a lovely 2 weeks and would highly recommend.

Firstly it was very disappointing to receive a text before arriving saying that the authorities had given permission to re-open the pools but that the “community” had not yet done so. In fact it was suggested the “community” may in fact be about to restrict opening hours when eventually reopened. In our final days they started offering complimentary transfers to beach or into town to make up for the pool issue. This is a secure complex in the hills with a 5-10 minute taxi ride down to Estepona. Welcome by reception was warm and helpful. The apartments are modern (mainly privately owned?) and to a very good standard . Some views are great. Powerful shower (despite the drought) and modern facilities for self catering and a huge balcony. Shame that not a single thing is provided to start the self catering experience (drinking water? Salt? Pepper? Cooking oil?). As it happens we weee too busy to cook. On the downside they seemed to have a bit of an ant problem. On site there was what seemed a popular and well equipped fitness area with outside courts and a cafe, a small pricey shop, and beside the main pool a bar that served decent drinks and food at reasonable prices (sadly quiet due to the pool being closed). Other than that it’s probably more “community” than holidaymaker focused. Nice but probably would stay in the Town if back in the area.

All pools closed until further notice, this is still happening in 2024! Nothing for the children to do , as pools closed by Law re water restrictions. Making it a miserable holiday, and pointless, we are not beach people! Play park on the front, but that’s it!

We stayed here in sep.22 for one week. We absolutely loved it! The appartement is new, modern, spacious. The view from our appartement was towards Estepona and the small pool, which was very nice. The kitchen provided everything you need to make your own meals. Supermarket is a 5 minute drive from Holiday Hills. There was one restaurant opened during our stay, but there was plenty of choice and prices were reasonable. Towel and linen change was 1x per week, which was enough. No need for cleaning after checking out, that is provided for. Make sure to bring kitchen towels etc, they are not included. Reception staff very nice and willing to help. You can also buy tickets to use the very large fitness area at the terrain (€5,- p.p. per visit). There is a washer / dryer combinaton in the pantry behind the kitchen. Also iron and iron board are covered! Enough swimming pools for your entertainment. Location very good for exploring the surroundings of Andalusia. We will definitely come back here!
