厄傑納別墅飯店(Hotel la Villa Eugene)

Highly recommend staying here if you are doing any tours of the Champagne region. You can either walk within 5 minutes of the many of the top producers for tasting or hire a guide for a full day tour. The hotel well-appointed and staff was very helpful during and in advance of our stay. We stayed in room 11, it is very large and comfortable. The only improvement we would suggest the room about ours (room 11) every time someone walked around their room the cathedral rattled which was loud and annoying. Otherwise we stayed 2 nights and did enjoy the experience

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male in diesem Hotel und waren wie immer vom Service und der Feundlichkeit des Personals überwältigt. Das Frühstück lässt nichts zu Wünschen übrig. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und die Sauberkeit ist überwätigend. Wir werden wiederkommen. Danke noch einmal an das liebenswürdige Personal.

Établissement 3 ou 4 étoiles mais pas 5 étoiles. Sur les photos lors de la réservation, il y a avait douche et baignoire dans la chambre à notre arrivé seul une baignoire. Dans la salle de bain certain joint étaient salle de moisissures, la baignoire etait rayée au fond, le bouchon n'étant pas étanche il était difficile de prendre un bain il y avait encore des cheveux sur le mur ainsi que dans le lavabo. Les meubles de la chambre étaient abîmés, quand on marchait dans celle ci l'armoire grinçait énormément. Le personnel était très aimable, mais incapable de nous conseiller une bonne table pour le soir ni une petite maison de champagne à visiter. Nous avons signaler à notre départ le manque de propreté de la sdb aucune réaction particulière. Décevant pour le standing de l'établissement

Nuit très agréable à la Villa Eugène: - personnel chaleureux et aux petits soins - chambre très bien avec très bonne literie - Petit bémol sur la salle de bain: qualité du sèche cheveux à disposition à revoir, radiateur à revoir, agencement, longueur douchette, pas de mitigeur & joints de la douche à revoir… 1 douche et salle de bain facilement inondée en somme surtout quand on a un homme qui mesure plus de 1m80… - très bon petit déjeuner Donc l’étoile en moins c’est en raison de la salle de bain. Tout le reste était top. Merci bcp, et nous reviendrons!

Lors d'un voyage en Normandie entre mère et fille (avec notre petit chien dans sa poussette) on avait choisi la Villa Eugène comme étape (lors de l’aller est également lors du retour). On y a donc passé 2 séjours - courts, mais parfaits !! L’accueil a été très chaleureux – tant pour nous que pour notre petit chien. Le bâtiment est juste magnifique – décoré avec classe et beaucoup de goût. Le jardin est également très beau et super bien entretenu. Il invite à s’assoir autour de la piscine pour profiter d’un verre de champagne. On a (les 2 fois) séjourné dans la chambre 21 – et on l’a adorée – avec ses 2 cheminées et sa décoration choisi avec amour pour les détails ! Le petit déjeuner est également de grande qualité avec un choix de pains remarquable !! On a adoré les gâteaux (sucrés et salés) faits maison! Là aussi, les équipes sont adorables (comme dans tout l’hôtel, d’ailleurs !) On a bien aimé échanger avec tout le monde ! Le bar est extrêmement cosy – notamment avec un feu crépitant dans la cheminée et on a bien aimé y pendre les apéros (la baguette au chorizo et celui aux lardons qui l’accompagnent sont délicieuses) et digestifs. L’hôtel se situe à l’entrée d’Épernay – juste au début de la fameuse avenue de Champagne. On a bien aimé la petite promenade (juste environ d’une quinzaine de minutes) pour aller au centre-ville (pour le dîner au restaurant le soir). Quand on était de retour – après une semaine en Normandie – c’était presque comme « retourner » à la maison – tellement on s’y sent bien ! On a regretté de ne pouvoir pas rester plus qu’une seule nuit – mais on va revenir – et cela le plus rapidement possible. Encore merci pour ces 2 séjours si inoubliables !

I almost never give a 1 star however the staff during the day of 10/27 was so rude and disrespectful we were shocked. Horrible experience we would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They should reconsider who they have representing their hotel. Additionally the told us that during the day they had to “keep” our room key because it was too heavy and we could get hurt carrying it?!! They also told us we would be locked out of the property after 11pm if we didn’t use a code at the gate. The rooms were very small and amenities were poor. We stayed 1 night which was more than enough!!! Do not recommend!!!

This hotel should not be a 5 star hotel. The first room we were out on was very sad, small, dated, dark and ugly without even a proper shower. When we told the front desk we were prepared to leave to stay in another hotel because we were so disappointed the lady said they would charge us for the full stay anyway even though we were enormously disappointed with the property. We were shown a second room which had an overpowering smell of vomit. We took the room simply because every other hotel in the area was fully booked. We had to air out the room for an hour to try to get rid of the smell. There was mold in the shower, long black hairs on the bedroom floor, disgusting carpet that was filthy to the eye. When we checked for bedbugs, which we don’t usually do but felt like we had to because the hotel seemed so dirty, we saw that the base of the bed had mold spots on it. The breakfast was very basic and completely pathetic so we only had breakfast at the hotel on the first morning. The other mornings we went into Epernay for breakfast (Matin Gourmand was great). Upon checkout, despite our enormous disappoin**ent, the lady at reception tried to charge us for parking even though we had never been informed of a parking fee. The hotel is grossly overrated as a 5 star property. It should be listed as 3 star at best. The owners are clearly not investing in the property and trying to make extra money from hidden parking fees and overcharging for a horrendous breakfast. It feels like the owners have run out of money. A very, very sad property to which I wouldn’t never, ever return. Awful!

A truly elegant and sophisticated place to stay. The welcome was very warm and efficient. Our room was beautifully appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside was when we asked reception to book us into a restaurant that had been highly recommended to us the young man on duty was not helpful and booked us into another restaurant (which was okay) giving us the reason that the restaurant was fully booked, however when we went into our preferred restaurant after having eaten at the restaurant he had booked we found out that there would have been a table available to us at the time we wanted. The staff at breakfast time were an absolute delight and cheerfully accommodated our choices

We loved the pool, but the traffic is quite loud so it’s hard to really relax by the pool. Walking distance to everything. We were charged for parking which wasnt ideal. I think we were charged for 2 days of parking although it was really 24 hours ( one day) as we had only booked one night. Staff were very friendly and eager to show us around the property.
