I organised a night away at The Manor House Country Hotel for my 21 year old son and his girlfriend as a treat for their upcoming birthdays. How disappointed I was when they returned home today telling me of their experience. On returning from the hotel leisure facilities to the hotel changing rooms, my son stepped in HUMAN EXCREMENT which was on the floor. He was totally disgusted and at this stage wanted to leave the hotel and return home. His girlfriend encouraged him to stay. They each had a 3 course meal in The Cellar Restaurant of which the main meals were cold. The next morning the breakfast was also cold. I rang to explain my concerns to the Duty Manager who said that the EXCREMENT could have been that of a child's! To which I replied I don't think it matters whether the EXCREMENT was a child's or an adults it should not have been on a 4 star Hotel's changing room floor. She then responded, well in the toilet area its hard to see sometimes, I replied it WAS NOT in the toilet area it was in the changing area of the leisure facility. My son was offered no compensation and I was told that the Director of the Hotel said there was nothing they could do about this complaint. Would we recommend this hotel...... ABSOLUTELY NOT...... The manner in which this complaint was dealt with was certainly NOT professional.

We didn't get a chance to complete our visit on Sunday 11 February for a one night stay as I was admitted as an emergency to hospital on Saturday 10th. I emailed the hotel while in A&E on Saturday that we couldn't make it and asking that, under the circumstances could we postpone our visit. On Sunday I got a phone call enquiring if we were still coming. The Out come of that conversation was they would cancel the no show fee and we would lose our deposit. On Tuesday I received an email from the hotel Thanking us for staying, hoping we had a wonderful stay. Unbelievable lack of sympathy and coordinating their guests correspondence. I am still in hospital and will be for some time.

A bonus is their location facing the lake and the impressive quality and decor of their public rooms. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Our lakeside view room was lovely and a nice touch was that they remembered it was my birthday with a card and chocolates. Disappointing was air con which was too noisy to leave on so we had to keep the window open for air, And also when we went to make tea we discovered there were no spoons and the phone was not answered which meant my husband had to go down to the desk. Actually, we had to plug in the phone as it had been unplugged when they cleaned the room it seems. And the towel setup in the bathroom had face cloths missing. So seems the room keeping staff needs to be more careful. We had dinner in the Bistro which was beautifully decorated with excellent service. Food was lacking however as my husband's chicken choice was very dry. Overall it's a lovely hotel that just needs to be more careful with the abovementioned items.

Amazing looking place with beautiful surroundings looking over lough Erne. The room we stayed in had an excellent view of the lough, staff were great and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Only downside was the food at the bistro. Pan fired chicken was really dry probably reheated and looked like something you get at Wetherspoons. Ribs were good. Would I stay again.. one room for two for an overnight stay with bistro food included at £280 with very noisy aircon.? Yes if they could improve the food at the bistro and sorted the noisy air conditioning unit that we had to switch off and open the window.

Have just attended a wedding at the Manor House, am here with my girlfriend. For a wedding, the food was lovely and the atmosphere and overall service was good, the one point of negativity I have however was at the conclusion of the night. I had been standing at the bar for 15-20 waiting to order one pint which during a wedding does not seem like a large ask. The area of the bar I was stood at was being served by a bar-man named Reese according to his name tag. After these 15 mins had concluded the staff then proceeded to begin rapidly pulling down shutters and told us the bar was now closed. I can understand after a long day wanting to close up but the speed at which they began to start denying customers was a little alarming. It was Reese in particular who was adamant I was not being served even though I am staying here for two consecutive nights. This may seem trivial to some but as a paying customer and a resident it has set a tone that will now carry over to the rest of our stay. If the staff here are as adamant to get rid of us the moment they are obligated then I shall not be recommending the place to any friends. Is is a shame such a lovely place has been affected negatively by the actions off one.

We had our wedding at the Manor House in March 2024 for about 120 people including children. We didn’t have the ceremony here, just the reception. There was plenty of space for more people if we needed it. The staff from the very beginning were brilliant. We live abroad and had to send family to view the hotel. Nothing was too much for the team and all of our questions were answered quickly. The hotel itself is stunning and the grounds are great for photos. The hotel is a great blend of traditional but with all modern appliances and very clean. Expectations were managed well so that we knew what was available and possible. Trust Una and the team to help advise as this is their expertise. The day ran very smooth without any stresses. The food was fantastic and plenty of it which guests were delighted with. There was plenty of staff working so very little waiting for anything. Our party continued to the early hours and even the staff in the residents bar were pleasant at that time! Breakfast again was brilliant with a great selection of freshly cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend the hotel to any couples thinking of getting married.

Good hotel food good service excellent views all round either lake or gardens. What more can I say other than hope I’m back soon.

Manor House Hotel is the best place to stay. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Couldn't fault it in any way. You need to book this hotel for your next break, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend, particularly Karen in the Spa, she is a perfectionist and is so passionate about her job and also the 2 receptionists who located my rings and posted them back to me. Thank you

We visited The Belleek Restaurant for my birthday. Everything was perfect from start to finish, the service, the ambiance, the luxurious surroundings. The food was superb and excellent value. We requested to sit in the main part of the restaurant although there is a conservatory too, but we love the charm of the original building. The service was attentive but not fussy, the food pretty, tasty with fabulous flavour combinations without being pretentious. This is a really special restaurant which deserves every award it gets.
