施萬德旅館(Gasthaus Schwand)

1차선 도로를 굽이굽이 운전해갈 때는 걱정이 되었는데, 숙소에 도착한 이후부터 우리는 끊임없는 감탄사를 연발했습니다. 인생 최고의 풍경 속에서 잠을 자고 새벽안개가 올라오는 걸 보며 잠을 깬 기억은 잊을 수 없습니다. 친절한 사람들이 운영하는 레스토랑의 따듯한 분위기도 좋아요. 나는 다시 이곳을 방문할 것입니다.

Super Gasthaus an etwas abgelegener Lage vom Dorfkern entfernt. Echt nostalgisch mit dem Baujahr 1877, dafür etwas hellhörig. Das Essen im Speisesaal war wirklich köstlich, und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Schönes Zimmer mit passender Einrichtung zum Jahrgang des Hauses. Sehr empfehlenswert für jemanden, der mobil ist und die 4,5km vom Zentrum Engelbergs kein Problem darstellt. Die Preis/Leistung ist dabei sehr gut. Gerne wieder

I wanted a place in the mountains and Schwand Gusthaus delivered. Woke up to a scene out of a movie. Tall mountains, green pastures and tinkling bells on cows. Myelie and Patrick are great hosts. We had dinner in their restaurant one night. Excellent food! I am planning to stay here again this winter. It is a shared bathroom situation so if that is an issue look elsewhere. Beds were very comfortable. And Engelberg is a lovely little town.

Das Gasthaus ist etwas abseits von Engelberg gelegen, deshalb ist es sehr ruhig und es liegt wunderschön! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, einfach und zweckmässig eingerichtet, ein wenig ringhörig. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr herzlich, und das Essen fantastisch! Wir kommen wieder!

Always worth to have lunch/dinner here. Have been eating here always at least once when being in Engelberg. The location is very quiet and beautiful (pretty romantic). The restaurant has a cosy interior and a large terrace. The food is delicious and very worth the price you pay. This time I had a "Schnitzel vom Schwein mit Fritten" as main dish and "Emmenthaler Meringue mit Glace" as dessert. I can also recommend their cheese fondue (from my prior visits) also delicious. Stayed there 2 nights 2 adults 3 teens. Place was spacious and owners really friendly and helpful. A lot of hikes available directly from the hotel. The view is spectacular got a chance to be there for the Swiss national birthday. Bratwurst, raclette and beer in the village just a fun party with them. Price really good considering the region in which the hotel is found.

It is a stunning place to stay with unbelievable views with a lovely family feeling and welcome. The food in the evening was also delicious. Seriously a lot better than you would expect from a place this size.

Had a wonderful evening stay with my family. Stunning location with amazing views and extremely friendly host. Breakfast was excellent.

Authentiek kleinschalig familiehotel. Diner was goed, ontbijt eenvoudig. Huiselijke gastvrijheid.
