阿斯特拉鄉村套房飯店(Astra Village Hotel Suites)

The hotel is about 5 minutes taxi ride from the airport making it really convenient. The rooms are clean with everything you need. The pool is great and the sun loungers very comfortable. You can watch incoming planes landing from the pool. People tend to put their towels down before the pool opens, which can be frustrating and means waiting for a lounger if you don’t do that - Tip: if going in July (it was 33 degrees) go to the beach first and then the pool around 4/5pm and you’ll get a lounger and quieter pool. Hotel is within walking distance of both Ammes and Ai Helis beaches which are immaculate. The water is clean and clear. We would definitely return.

We returned to the astra for our third stay in kefalonia. We love the area as it's so quiet but also gives my wife her "fix" of airplanes as the hotel is located quite close to the airport. As in another recent comment, the hotel would be better suited to adults only as the pool is not really suited to children plus the play area is small. On a number of occasions, we heard kids being shushed by other holiday makers. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and many of the 65?of them have sea views as did ours (Room 121). Poolside is relaxed with very comfortable sun beds. If you are on half board, the evening meals can be a bit "samey" with a limited choice on the menu. We chose to eat at a favourite nearby taverna on three evening's, so overall the astra evening meals were tolerable but not the best. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Lunch choices are good and cooked fresh and were very tasty. The bar is well stocked and is run by the lovely Sylvia. Good choice of drinks and cocktails. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We also hired a car from the hotel for 2 days which was convenient and very well priced. Personally this hotel suits us very well and we're booked to stay here again in 2024. My recommendation for the owners is they should consider allowing those on half board to select a lunch or evening meal each day. Perhaps also a reduction on the ala-carte menu costs if people choose to eat from it instead of the half board choice that evening.

Een mooi hotel/appartement. Rustig gelegen en erg schoon. Erg vriendelijk personeel en goed eten zowel a la carte als van het buffet. Het eiland is minder toeristisch als bijvoorbeeld zakynthos maar met erg mooie stranden en een paar leuke plaatsjes om te bezoeken. Een echte aanrader naast Myrtos beach is Antisamos beach. Lekker loungen op de ligbedden en kristalhelder water met kleine zwermen kleurige visjes. Wel een auto huren als je het eiland wilt ontdekken. Kan allemaal via het hotel geregeld worden.

Ανετο, καθαρό, καλο πρωινο, προσεγμενοι εξωτερικοί χώροι, εξυπηρετικο και ευγενικό προσωπικο, σχετικά καλη θέση, κοντά στο Αργοστόλι, πολυ κοντα γνωστες παραλιες, σημαντικό στοιχείο λόγω του κακής ποιοτητας δρόμων στην Κεφαλονιά. καλη σχέση ποιοτητας- τιμης, πληρωσαμε 85€ το δικλινο

buona posizione vicino aereoporto ma non fastidioso. Ottima pulizia camera e locali comuni, camera ampia e con posto cottura.Bellissima ampia piscina Discreta prima colazione a buffet. al limite del pessimo la cena a buffet con piatti di carne e pollo riciclati per diversi giorni.

Not a 4 star, more like 3 star as rated by jet2. All inclusive doesn't include the last day of your stay as soon as you vacate your room. Food very average and not particularly warm. There is a very nice taverna opposite with better food and drinks. Also other tavernas within a 10 to 20 minute walk. Wouldn't bother, better places around. Close to airport so you can watch the aeroplanes coming in and landing which we enjoyed but might not be for everyone I suppose who like a quite life!

We felt relaxed the moment we arrived!! Had the most wonderful time looking at the sunsets and enjoying delicious cocktails. Excellent location,such a beautiful and welcoming place! A special thanks to Sylwia , Irene, and Dymitris for looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble!

This hotel is not 4 star! On arrival we paid €7 for room tax per night, we expected to pay room tax but this hotel is not worth it after staying in many 4 star hotels around greece I would say it was more 2 star. Location is great close to the beach and only a bus ride into argostilli, the hotel is not welcoming when you arrive there was 1 person behind reception, you don't get assistance to your room, your just told where to go, we went half board, the room was very basic, kitchen sink in a wardrobe, cooker hood?basket of random cuttlery, not useful, a kettle, tea coffee sugar not provided, 2 single beds pushed together to make a double they were forever separating, reported to reception it wasn't good enough, expected a double mattress they celotaped the legs together which didn't hold! On appearance the room looked clean but obviously not deep cleaned! The cleaners were lovely & friendly and made the beds & cleaned the room everyday fresh towels etc, but unsure if the sheets were changed in the 2 weeks when we were there as there was a stain on the sheets, the best thing about the room was the shower! The balcony is just big enough for 2 chairs & a table. We arrived late afternoon so decided to try the food, not a lot on offer fish fingers? Not very greek! No form of potatoes? Food not labelled very well ! Food was always cold we complained to the rep she advised at reception to heat the food up this was not done! Had to pay extra to go to the resteraunt over the road for meals which I can highly recommend! The pool area is very nice but too cold for some. Better food is also served at the pool bar which we enjoyed but the buffet was disgusting! Very little variety and cold. Svoronata is beautiful the perfect place for a quiet holiday it's also best to hire a car to get out and about I would not stay at this hotel again if you want the Greek experience you will not get it here.

There is so much to like about this hotel on first impressions. Conveniently situated near to the airport, the beach, places to eat and drink. Also, very close to the bus stop to argostolion. The hotel reception, pool area and grounds look lovely. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff work extremely hard. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit dated. They still have an extractor fan (no hob) next to the sink, both of which are closed off by wardrobe doors, obviously from years ago when they were self catering. This decor does not feel like 4* boutique. Indeed, the tourist tax for this hotel is €7 per night, which we thought was expensive for the quality of our room and experience. However, the main disappointment for us was the FOOD. It was lukewarm at best. I'm sure the staff work hard to make it and give it flavour, but the turn over of food was way too slow. Therefore, food sat for long periods. We struggled, both at breakfast and the evening meal, with the temperature and freshness of the food. And for the hotel to say there is a microwave, really doesn't justify them trying to sell themselves as 4*. We would have liked to see the addition of fresh, made to order items, i.e. eggs, omelettes, etc at breakfast. Then grilling fresh meat and fish in the evening, rather than sat in sauces that are lukewarm. My wife is a vegetarian and really struggled sometimes to find something to eat, other than salad. We also expected to see fresh fruit at breakfast, rather than tinned peaches and fruit cocktail. My breakfast was madiera cake and coffee throughout my holiday. There are other eateries within the area, where the quality, temperature and value for money was much better. However, being half board at the hotel, why should you have to go to additional expense. Food does seem to feature as an issue across many reviews, and was a common topic of conversation with other guests around the pool area, who were equally disappointed.
