We didn’t realise how far the hotel was from the bus terminal, airport, and city centre. However, the view of Lake Argentino from the hotel was very beautiful, and the hotel provides a free shuttle to the city centre. Most of the hotels we stayed in El Calafate did not provide slippers or a kettle. There was a water dispenser near the reception area. We visited the swimming pool and sauna and asked for slippers, which were provided by the receptionist along with towels. The slippers were not new (possibly reused), and the swimming pool (spa) was lukewarm (around 30°C).

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut. Preise sind okay. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel hätte ich mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück erwartet. Dampfbad war kalt. Und das Schwimmbad war nicht sehr sauber

Het hotel is gelegen net buiten het centrum van El Calafate en heeft een mooi uitzicht op het Lago Argentino en het Andesgebergte. Het is voorzien van alle comfort (inclusief indoor pool). De kamers zijn mooi ingericht met prima beddengoed en badkamer. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, ook een goede lunch of diner worden aangeboden. Het is er aangenaam vertoeven. Ingeval mooi weer, is een wandeling langs het meer een goed idee en is het centrum een optie. Door haar wat perifere ligging, biedt het hotel ook een gratis shuttle dienst naar het centrum, of is een goedkope taxi een goed alternatief. Vanuit het hotel is een bezoek aan het Glaciarium mogelijk met een taxi (10 min.)
