蒙德飯店(Hotel Munde)

Sehr geehrte Gäste vermeidet diesen Aufenthalt für 80 Euro in Telfs und schaut bitte nach einer anderen freundlicheren Unterkunft der Service ist eine Katastrophe und das Personal sehr unfreundlich und die Zimmer sind sehr laut spart Euch bitte das Geld und sucht Euch eine andere Unterkunft.Besten Dank schlimm so eine Organisation

Looks we were not the only one being victim of the unreliable hotel owner: booked and prepaid for two luxury rooms while being hustled with two very small rooms. When we didn't accept that behaviour nor weren't open for getting our first payment back, the hotel owner threatened with the police: 'this is my country and I can do what I want'

Recently had an overnight stop at the Hotel Munde ,staff were very pleasant,hotel provided secure underground parking for our motorcycles. The rooms were large, spotlessly clean and very well appointed wiith superb mountain views. We ate in the hotels restaurant that evening and the food was very good as was the breakfast the following morning. Overall a very pleasant stay

We stopped here for two nights returning from Italy on our 23 day road trip. It was a bit of a challenge to get to as there was a new pedestrian scheme in the town and maps and satnavs had not updated themselves. However, we got there, and husband parked in their secure garage. We didn't know there was an elevator from there and as we had already unloaded bags had to carry them up stairs. It was a very complicated geography inside the hotel. We had a very spacious room which I guess can be made up as a family room with a pretty basic bathroom, in fact everything was pretty basic but it was ok. No tea or coffee making in the room, nor air con. Poor selection of TV channels for husband. We explored Telfs which took about an hour though missed the opening hours of the museum nearby. Dinner was good, they obviously pride themselves on their steaks which are enormous. As ever good wine which always improves things. We did wonder what we would do with the day we had there but would highly recommend heading off to the Motorbike Museum up in the mountains. A good drive and a great place, unfortunately we were there too early for lunch, fabulous views at 2200 metres. Very helpful Tourist information Lady but she didn't mention that.

Rudest host ever experienced. Tried to put us (4 persons, arriving after a 12 hours trip) with the two smallest one bedrooms whereas we booked and prepared two junior suites. He obviously sold out his hotel and resold our reserved suites for a much higher price than for which we have booked for two months before. When expressing our expectations that the problem had to be solved he sent us away, claiming that he could do so by paying back our prepaid sum of money: it was his hotel and he could do so as this was Tirol. This man is the biggest shame for Austria's hospitality.

Hotel étape, très bon petit déjeuner, belle chambre vue sur les montagnes.
