One of the best hotel around downtown area! Staffs are very friendly and helpful whenever needed.

Spent 2 nights during our wedding at the Matrix. The hotel is ok. We had booked the platinum suite and had issues with the bedroom lights which never got fixed. Additionally, the rooms tend to be dark at night as there is very few light fixtures. The breakfast buffet was ok but you will get the bill as soon as you sit down to eat. The hotel didn't do anything for us with was a let down - no early check in / upgrade / late check -out

The parking was jammed full. We both had to bring a vehicle to accommodate our plans then we find out it’s $30 per car. Parking 20 steps farther in the next almost empty lot is $12. It was not sanded and very icy.

Las instalaciones y comodidad bien, indispensable. No me gusto que el desayuno es lo mismo todos los dias, yo estuve 7 dias, no fue algo agradable. Si habia traslado al aeropuerto no me enteré. Solicité cambio de cuarto por el numero de camas y nosotros tuvimos que bajar las maletas dejarlas en recepcion y despues ellos las llevaron al cuarto. Me habia tocado que el mismo hotel hacia el traslado. Necesitaba hacer unos examens orales por internet y pregunte si tenian alguna sala privada, el hotel tiene esa area abierta habia mucho ruido, tuve que sacar a mi hijo del cuarto toda la mañana para poder hacerlo ahí. Al hacer el check out, la mujer que me atendio de muy malas maneras, yo no hablo ingles ni ella español y poco tolerante para intentar entendernos. Me habia sacado la cuenta de los consumos mal. Me cobro de mas y al final salio la gerente, quedo hacer la devolucion del dinero después. No se si llegue. Demore tanto en ese asunto que me tuve que ir al eropuerto muy de prisa. Habia un mexicano trabajando ahi, fue el unico que nos apoyó en información del lugar.

The mandatory parking charge for staying at the hotel, not sure who doesn’t drive a vehicle to a hotel. Stayed here for a wedding and booked through *******, we didn’t realize there was a discount for the wedding guests until check out and the staff wouldn’t discount our room or refund the parking charge.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times. I liked the modern look and feel but this last time I was disappointed to find that breakfast and parking are no longer included in your stay. Parking seems very steep at $30 per night. There is some street parking but depending on where you find it, the walk can be sketch. I found the room great but bring your own pillows!!! No fan in the bathroom if that's your thing. Staff were friendly. Probably will try somewhere new next time.

Disappointing. We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels in the past few years, even successfully booked some through **********. Never been so disappointed. VERY expensive (booked through ********** because family was already staying there but we couldn't get the same rate...) Breakfast not included. Parking $30/ day. We thought it would be a luxury boutique hotel… wrong! Double beds, not queens. We asked for a room next to family; our room was adjoining, but with someone else, not them! 16 floors and ONLY ONE WORKING ELEVATOR all weekend - ridiculous time waiting. Party noises through the bathroom vent (door wouldn’t close, see below). Front desk said they'd send someone up but no one ever came… probably had to wait too long for elevator. Had to turn on A/C fan for "white noise" to sleep. Very stubborn sliding bathroom door and it didn't even close properly. Slow toilet. No fan in bathroom. "Bathfitter" deep tub, dangerous to step in for shower. Exposed bed frames = bruised shins. Lots of chipped paint on walls. Obviously old hotel cheaply refinished. Only advantage was downtown location. Never again. There’s better places down the street.
