OYO雅頓旅館(OYO Arden Guest House, Craigmillar Castle Edinburgh)

這家酒店的經歷非常糟糕。

Edimbourgh, plutôt bien placé avec un bus à proximité. Mais chambre devant une route très passante et bruyante, matelas des lits 1 personne, désastreux dans la chambre 8, on a bien senti les ressorts. Il faut les changer ! Le store ne fermait pas complètement, il est cassé nous avons essayé de camoufler le jour comme on a pu. Poignée de porte cassée, lustre mal en point. C'est très vieux et pas entretenu, la propreté n'était pas au rendez-vous. Le café du matin n'est pas bon du tout et le thé était très clair, les yaourts étaient bons et nous avons eu un toast chacun. Sinon vous pourrez trouver des pains au chocolat bien industriel. Nous ne retiendrons pas cette adresse.

La chambre sentait l’humidité, le moisi. Personne à l’accueil, tout est automatisé et digital. Nous avons tenté de joindre l’hôtel pour changer de chambre et ils n’ont jamais répondu. Enfin de mauvaise foi car ils ont expliqué à hôtel.com que nous n’avions pas essayé de les appeler pour en parler.

Honestly I'm shocked with this... how it ever got a 3 star I have no idea. Its clear it hasn't been reviewed in a very long time. All photos online are clearly old. There was rust on the radiators, paint peeling off the walls, holes in the walls and burns all over the carpet. The bedding was stained as well as the towels. The information provided within the room was very out dated. We were told a cooked breakfast was a charge in the information leaflet and that we would need to be booked in advance, however this wasn't an option at all. We were also told that we needed a sign to hang on the door to have our room cleaned again this wasn't an option and as it happened the room did not get cleaned once in our 5 nights there. The breakfast was very basic, with small things like jugs for juices and milk not topped up. We were offered 1 slice of toast and although some mornings offered a second slice this wasn't the case every morning. Breakfast is served for 1 hour a day, and we found that if we sat down within the first 30 minutes we could eat with enough milk ect. However if we came in after the second 30 minutes there was lack of things. There were times where I would ring the bell for information or help while there and there was no answer. I could understand that it wasn't 24 hour service but particular points within the day like morning and early evening when we'd checked in, I would have expected something. We had rung originally prior to arriving and had asked if we could leave our suitcases with the bed and breakfast due to our flights arriving in mid morning. We were told absolutely this was fine, we would be provided with a code for the main door and that we would have a place to leave the suitcase until main check in. However we didn't recieve the code prior and when we rang the bell upon arrival, we were asked why we were here so early. I explained that I had already rang and spoken to them to get confirmation that I could leave my suitcase before check in. It was as if I had never done this. I'd understand if there was lack of communication between staff but there only ever seemed to be one staff member there in the entire stay. Over all I just don't think it's worth the money. The only benefits that I felt like there were to the hotel was that it was close to the bus stops that directly ran into the city.

Helt ok plass å være for noen dager, veldig hyggelige ansatte som trekker opp vurderingen. Ellers var det skittent og gammelt, ser ikke ut som på bildene. Gikk greit for noen netter, men ville ikke vært der lenge. Gulvet knirker også veldig uansett hvor man trør.

房間很陳舊，壁紙剝落，窗戶和牆壁發霉。天花板角落裡有灰塵。浴室看起來相當新，但是淋浴頭被水垢覆蓋，所以到處都是。他們的毛巾架也掛在牆上。床上有兩張單人床墊，其中一張顯然很舊，因為你躺在一個破舊的洞裡。工作人員很友好，但我不喜歡在退房時間前 15 分鐘敲門提醒我們離開。位置和停車場都很理想，但我不會再預訂了。

The room was dated with wallpaper peeling off and mould over the walls and windows. The bed was two single mattresses one of which was very old and so you were sleeping down in a hole. The bathroom appeared new however the limescale on the shower head caused it to spray everywhere and the towel rail was falling off. The parking was ideal as well as location however apart from that I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.
