The apartment is a lower level walk out: private, quiet and secluded. Renting is, 4 pm on arrival day to 11 am on departure day.Completely renovated a few years ago. Brand new queen bed, all tile floors, concrete counter tops, flat screen tv's, wifi, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, large deck perfect for grilling and chilling. Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach (ocean side beaches) are approximately two miles, and it is less than a 1/4 mile to Cape Cod Rail Trail and 1/2 mile to Nauset Bike Trail to Coast Guard Beach. Mature gardens are in bloom. Cats are welcome (keep indoors). Dogs are negotiable. We have three Persian cats--Melvin, Moses and their sister Marley--who you may see out on their enclosed "catio." This quintessential sun filled 576 square foot Cape Cottage is located in the historic Fort Hill area. The home has been fully renovated with modern design and amenities. There is an outdoor shower, screened in porch, gas grill, fireplace and central A/C and ceiling fans for the summer months. The home is well appointed in simplistic and comfortable style. It s the perfect spot for a couple or small family. Please note, the maximum guests are two individuals. Given that this is a small house, the cottage has limited closet space. There is ample storage under the beds for clothes and two areas with shelves available for guests. As much as we would love to host guests with dogs, some canines have not been well behaved at the cottage. We no longer can allow dogs or pets of any kind. The home is a very short walk to Fort Hill and preserved uplands on the National Seashore with spectacular views of Nauset Marsh and the Outer beach. Multiple trails lead you though groves of maple, past Native American historic sites to Hemenway Landing for launching your kayak or boat. The house is on a Cul de sac and sits on a slight knoll with a large front yard dominated by shrubbery. A family friendly house. The rear of the property is your usual sandy mixture Cape lawn - ideal for playing or simply lying out in the shade of the many locust trees, which also appear to be a sanctuary for birds and other wildlife.We are within easy reach of Fort Hill, a popular spot for an ocean sunrise and Rock Harbour for its famous sunsets. The bike trail, which meanders through much of the Cape, can be accessed .07 miles from the house and it will take you right through to Coast Guard Beach and all the way to Marconi Beach or, in the opposite direction, to Orleans, Brewster and Dennis - a pleasurable and safe way of travel. We have 2 first class bikes there for you to use but you need to bring your own helmets. The house is situated so that alternate roads can be used to avoid the highly traveled Route 6.Rental period: The calendar may read otherwise but the rental periods are normally Saturday to Saturday unless other arrangements have been made. It will be priced accordingly. Check-in time is 3.00pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon.The time is crucial for the cleaners. It's so hard to find reliable people who maintain the highest standards.
