聖艾夫斯精品飯店(St Ives Boutique Hotel)

As a non driver I wanted somewhere to stay were transport wasn’t needed, the well located St Ives, is a short walk from Dunoon Pier along Victoria Parade a wide footpath by the water, leading you up the garden path to the door. I booked the Little Cumbrae a single room, described as compact and cosy, so I was expecting a fairly small room and wasn’t disappointed. I’ve never found this an issue when I’m asleep or not there, once in bed the room didn’t feel small, if you need more space, for reading, watching television or just looking out of a bigger window the lounge is next door. The views over the Bay from the Little Cumbrae provide a pleasant start to the day, as does the en-suite with shower, (every thing nice and clean). All the quality extras I’d hope for and frequently don’t get are provided, on the hospitality tray. I enjoyed the fresh coffee and breakfast each morning. Kenny and Lesley offered a friendly service, accommodating my requests were possible. If there’s one downside to visiting the St Ives, it’s that you need two or three days too fully appreciate all that’s on offer. I’d definitely hope to stay at the St Ives when visiting Dunoon.

Had a lovely stay at St. Ives Hotel who were very accommodating to us and the hotel itself was spotless. Fab facilities for the children and the breakfast was unreal. Best porridge I’ve ever tasted! The boys pancake stack was also very impressive! The room was perfect for us as a family of 4, the bunk beds for the kids was perfect. Lovely hot shower. And nice amenities in the room. Great hosts and we would highly recommend.

Warm welcome from Kenny after a last minute booking. Very comfy bed in clean room, beautiful view of the beach, sea and hills right outside the window. Breakfast was EXCELLENT, continental had a lovely selection of porridge, yoghurt & granola plus pastries. Definitely did not leave hungry! Parking right outside & great location for walking around Dunoon and along the shore. Garden for our own use with picnic benches right by the beach, perfect for a takeaway picnic! Kenny was a very friendly host and serving staff were helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay What a warm welcome we recieved from Kenny, (Lesley was away met her on the day we were leaving) wonderful family run hotel lovely views, nice and clean.and the breakfast wow next time folks maybe let Don in the kitchen show him how it's done lol you will have difficulty finding any faults as you are well looked after and very accommodating and a happy place to stay would highly recommend staying here you will struggle to find better, it's a small business so book early you won't be disappointed...we look forward to visiting again Many thx Kenny and Lesley and the kids for making our stay a happy 1 ...all the best folks ....Sheila and Don Moffett from Rosyth Fife

Excellent residence. Superb standards with decent shower and comfortable bed. We stayed in the Bute room giving us a great view over the water. Exceptional hosts and very good quality breakfast. Kenny and his team have put together a beautiful property that is very well maintained in a tranquil area of Scotland. If you really want to get away from it all and experience a calm, quiet getaway then this is the place for you. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Trip to see Brother in law and family in Dunoon. St. Ives had a stunning sea front location with top views. Dedicated Car parking available to frontage . Convenient location to town centre including bars and restaurants. Bedroom was very nice and clean with everything we needed. 1st floor sea facing lounge is a lovely place to meet with others, as is the ground floor bar / breakfast room. Breakfast was fabulous. Bar service available and very reasonably priced with good service. Kenny and Lesley were great hosts throughout, highly recommended.

I cannot speak highly enough about lesley and the St ives !!! Rooms amazing , food amazing! Care and compassion amazing!! We had a very last minute booking Monday morning, arrived Monday afternoon- and I wish I never had to leave. It was a wee safe haven for me - having an extremely difficult time in my life - it gave me an escape! Much needed. Perfect place to be.

Lovely friendly owners, so helpful, nothing was any trouble. Kenny makes a great Bloody Mary! A Lovely hotel. Would 100% visit again. We stayed for 3 nights, had a lovely view of the Loch. Breakfast every morning, coffee machine in the room which is always an added bonus! A really friendly family run business.

Went with my husband to St. Ives Hotel in Dunoon for 2 nights. Wonderful little hotel set back overlooking the sea in Dunoon. Our room was on the top floor with beautiful sea views & a window seat to sit & enjoy them on. Immaculate refurbished bathroom /shower room with great powerful shower. Bedroom perfect size with very comfortable bed. Hotel is immaculate! Beautiful lounge thoughtfully laid out with every amenity needed amazing sea views & amenities including some toys for children. Breakfast was exceptional lovely presentation & absolutely delicious. Owned & managed by Kenny & his wife who were perfect hosts. We will return !
