亞瑟藝術之家旅館(Art Home Arthur)

It is in the old city which offers you the best location. Next door there is an amazing restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner - Nava! The Main Street is just down the end of the alleyway. There are shops all around. It was a beautiful comfortable stay.

L'albergo si trova a due passi dallo Stradun, la via principale del centro storico pedonale di Dubrovnik. E' importante sottolineare che in una città caratterizzata da salite e discese, questo è uno dei pochi alberghi del tutto pianeggiante, senza necessità di inerpicarsi per impervie scalinate. L'albergo è stato completamente ristrutturato e tutto profuma di nuovo. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile anche se non assicura una presenza h24 alla reception. Il prezzo è adeguato per ciò che offre. Io ritornerei sicuramente se in futuro dovessi trovarmi ancora a Dubrovnik !

We spent 3 nights at Art Home Arthur in October 2022. Our room was bright and cheery with lovely furnishings and decorations, as well as having many lighting options. The bathroom had ample towel racks upon which our towels dried easily. One minor note which didn't really detract from our enjoyment of the hotel, was the bottom sheet was directly on the mattress and not on a mattress protector. The location was fantastic in the old town and a few hundred metres from one of the town gates. We could walk to all the attractions we wanted to visit, including the Museum of Modern Art. The Reception is staffed during the day and well into the night by a group of friendly guys. Upon arrival, the Reception team gave us a map and clear instructions on how best to access the various attractions along with useful restaurant recommendations.

I traveled my way down the Croatian coast with Dubrovnik as my last stop. The staff at the hotel werevery friendly and accommodating. They help carry my monster suitcase up the stairs and allowed me to store after check out on my last day as.my ferry to Italy was very late in the day.

Location is very convenient- just a couple of streets next to one of the main gates to the old city. My room was at the top floor- no elevator- however the reception was very kind to help me up with luggage. The room was very nice and also clean. The only negative was there was a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom, i had to keep the window open the whole time.

The location is excellent right in the old town the guys at reception is very friendly would definitely stay again next time in dubrovnik had the attic room which was fine for me but if someone was not that moble it might be difficult

Hotel was easy to find and near the Pile Gate, ideal if you have heavy luggage. Location is in a prime spot in the old town next to everything. Check in was quick and easy. The host was a very nice guy, friendly and helpful. He pointed out all the must see attractions for the town, carried my luggage up the stairs for me and showed me to my room. The room was clean, well presented and fully equipped. When stuck the host even helped me find a place to get some nice dairy free ice cream which was a big plus for me 🙂 Overall it's a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

A few days before I arrived at the property I emailed to see if I could check in early or drop off my bag. I knew early check in would be unlikely but was told I could drop off my suitcase which I was happy with. When I arrived there was a male cleaner who refused to let me drop off my bag. I tried to explain that I’d been told via email that I could leave it here and he became very angry and started shouting and screaming in my face. I said that he was making me uncomfortable and that I didn’t want to stay anymore if this was the treatment I would be receiving at which point he shouted “good get out then!” He then used the door of the building to physically push me off the property, lock the door behind me and continued to scream at me through the glass. I spent the next five hours on the phone to *********** desperately trying to find somewhere else to stay but as it was high season there was nothing available. I had no choice but to stay in the property or sleep on the streets. I proceeded to barricade myself into my hotel room for the next few nights using a cable lock and furniture, and I slept with a personal alarm and protection spray next to my bed. I also established a “check in plan” with friends where, if they hadn’t heard from me by 10:30 in the morning they were to contact the police as I had most likely come to harm. This man had access to my room and I was scared that I may be attacked by him or worse during the night. I brought the behaviour of this man to the attention of Direct Booker and the hotel/apartment receptionist but they couldn’t care less, Direct Booker didn’t even respond to my email. Do not stay here.
