We have stayed in a number of very nice hotels in Croatia and Monte***** and the Bellevue has been my favorite!!!! It’s an immaculate boutique property, newly renovated - quiet, small, private with gorgeous views, unique location on a cliff side and access to a small but lovely beach. We were upgraded to an executive suite upon arrival and couldn’t be happier with our tastefully decorated, modern and comfortable room with two bathrooms which was great to have with our teenage daughter. The amenities provided were all high quality & beds were comfortable The restaurant staff (Antonio, Alen? at the beach) were really friendly and provided great service. We had a wonderful stay (mainly focused on relaxing at the property by the water away from the Old Town and tourist crush) and would highly recommend if you are looking for a boutique experience in Dubrovnik.

Hotel is very clean and beautiful. It has access to the beautiful beach. Walkable distance to the Old City, which was great because of the limited parking. Overall, service was great. However, I wish the service would be better at the restaurant. Specifically - during breakfast .

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was amazing! We particularly liked a young waiter named Robbie. There was no daily cleaning service, I'm assuming you had to request that and we did not. The beach below the hotel was beautiful but quite crowded and was a public beach to one side. Fantastic location and excellent food and drink!

Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Bellevue for making our 4day stay memorable from the moment we walked in. Loved the breakfast each morning out on the terrace. Dinner (shout out to Dakko) at Vapor was fantastic. Rooms are clean and modern.

The common areas and our room were very modern and well kept. Staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful, with excellent English. Loved that it was quiet yet very close to the old town, a lovely walk about 10 minutes away. The breakfast was extensive and everything we had was great. You could order custom omelets and other foods, which my husband did, and he enjoyed them all. The weather was rainy so we were unable to enjoy the beach, but the hotel provided umbrellas. We had dinner at Vapor and snacks at the wine bar, with nice recommendations for wines based on our taste. During our 5 nights in Dubrovnik, we stayed here 2 nights, then had to move to the Hilton Imperial when our Croatia tour started. Between these two 5-star hotels, we much preferred the Bellevue. It was a little further from town, but since we like to walk, it was not a problem (we are 73 & 69). The ambiance was less stuffy, and the rooms were brighter with space better utilized. The breakfast was also more extensive, although both places were plentiful. My only issue is that the magnifying mirror is placed too high on the wall for me to use to apply makeup, which seems to be common. They are clearly more for the benefit of men to shave than for ladies to use so I always have to take my own makeup mirror. I wish more hotels would consider one that can be adjusted to lower heights. Other than this, the entire stay was superlative and we would come back in a heartbeat.

I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik has to be the worst one of them all. I booked this hotel based on the Google reviews, however both me and my partner were truly disappointed with the hotel service and amenities. Unfortunately, the hotel is nowhere near international 5* standards and the price we paid was not adequate with the service. On the other hand, the property has a great view and is conveniently located. The old town is only about 25 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel interior is modern and pleasing to the eye.
