The Lindenhof is a good choice if travelling through the Black Forest. It’s a very authentic German hotel run by a friendly enthusiastic team. Our room was spacious with a nice modern bathroom. Dinner was very popular with locals, serving large portions of traditional German dishes. Good beer on tap. Breakfast had a wide varied selection. Easy to park outside the hotel. Ideal stop off if you’re travelling in that area.

It was my favorite hotel during my whole Germany trip. The staff is super nice and helpful, the room is full of touches, comfortable bed, very stylish decoration, you can definitely feel from details in the room that the owners have put lot of thoughts and efforts into this hotel and have constantly been trying to make it a better place. If am not mistaken, I remember chatting in their restaurants with one of the owner, she said this hotel is their family heritage, the building itself is around 300years old. But considering how comfortable the room is, I really have to say, I am really proud of them, how well they've been looking after this historic architecture. Don't miss out their restaurant as well, it is the best dinning place in town. Don't forget to try their dessert. Soooooo goooood!

Family run business, and you can feel in every corner that they give their heart and soul to run the hotel every day! If you looking for a friendly, cozy and really clean hotel do not go further! Nice comfy bed, and I loved the little details like the hand lotion, the soap, the guide books in the room that you can also buy in their little shop located just after the reception. Breakfast was the best we had in Germany! also try the restaurant, great German comfort food!

Tolles und sauberes Zimmer. Leckeres Essen. Personal sehr freundlich. Due Lage ist ruhig. Man kann dort E-Bikes leihen und die schöne Landschaft drum herum genießen. Hervorzuheben ist die freundliche Bedienung im Restaurant.

Die Betten sind mit weichen Matratzen sowie mit einfachen Lattenrosten ausgestattet, welche bei zu starker Bewegung gerne mal aus der Halterung fallen, merkt man dieses nicht, könnten weitere Latten sich lösen und man liegt schlimmstenfalls auf dem Boden im Bett. Die ältere Bedienung auf der Außenterrasse lässt mit Freundlichkeit arg sparsam, vielleicht lag es auch daran, dass man als Gast nur etwas zu Trinken bestellt hat. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig sowie mit frischem Obst gedeckt, nur die Brötchen scheinen aufgebacken zu sein. Alles in allem ist es dennoch ein gutes Hotel.

Hotel tipico in un paesino molto carino . Con amici abbiamo soggiornato nel periodo del ponte dell'8 Dicembre per 2 notti . Ottima posizione per raggiungere Friburg e le cascate di Sciaffusa ( splendide !!! ) . L'ambiente dell'Hotel è curato , pulito e ricco di storia che è quella della famiglia dei gestori credo a terza o quarta generazione . Gradevole vedere il personale in costume tipico . Nota dolente a livello però solo personale ( ma questo fa parte della cultura del luogo e non va contestato ) sono i cuscini altissimi e morbidissimi per noi scomodissimi ma per altri magari saranno confortevoli , quindi è soggettivo. Cena eccezionale , cibo buonissimo con le zuppe , il gulash , verdure e dolci fatti da loro in sintesi si mangia benissimo così la colazione ricchissima e varia , voto 10 ! Nei nostri confronti c'è sempre stato un atteggiamento da parte del personale e non all'insegna della cortesia e della disponibilità , ma mai un sorriso o qualche istante di empatia , direi molto distaccati e talvolta un po' seccati ma questo non incide sulla qualità . Puntualizzo che noi siamo persone molto British , quindi silenziose , educate e rispettose ma forse quella "freddeza" è dovuta solo ad un atteggiamento . Comunque siamo soddisfattisimi !

Etablissement familiale, très bien tenu avec une cuisine et un acceuil de qualité. Le village est superbe, au pied de la forêt noire. Ce n'est pas indiqué mais il y a 3 prises de charge pour voitures électriques disponibles gracieusement. Le petit déjeuner permet de voir venir le reste de la journée sereinement!

Hotel + Restaurant sehr gut. Fahrradgarage vorhanden, tolles Frühstück, alles bestens. Auf dem Zimmer kann man sich selbst Kaffee machen. Getränkekühlschrank und gemeinsame Dachterrasse. Biergarten sehr nett angelegt und tolle Aussicht auf Altstadt.
